Well, the whole film was interesting, intriguing, sometime even scary but I didn't like the ending. Why the hell a movie must have a bad ending in order to become "masterpiece" or classic of genre? Anyway, I loved the film. John Cusack, Ray Liotta, Amanda Peet, John Hawkes, Alfred Molina, Clea DuVall and all others did a great job

@drogin88 first off how does the suspense from the music & trailer destroy something, Second I don't like a bunch of music but it movies/trailers and other things a song i HATE 100% can work to make something I feel is great for the thing its being used for. I might not like it by its self but when its used in the or this way it works awesome. So suck on. Awesome Movie

I liked the movie's storyline because it was intriguing, but I didn't like the ending so much because it seemed to just suddenly give up for me. They use the common "It's okay" tactic which, obviously, signifies it's actually not, and overall, I think this movie needs a sequel to bring justice to its original.

I think what happened was the whole motel thing was made up in the psycho guys mind and each one of the people was one of his multiple personalities. The Kid was the true killer of his personalities and in the end prevailed over the other 10 personalities.

This is why at the end the killer goes crazy in the van and kills the 2 drivers because the killer personality prevailed at the Motel which was just a symbol of what was going on in his mind.

the people in the motel are really just multiple personalities of the bald headed guy (i forget his name, is it Malcolm?). and the little kid personality of Malcolm is the personality that is crazy and he makes him kill everyone. :) this is one of my favorites, ive watched it like 12 times xDD

yeah and when ed wakes up and the doctor tells him that one of the people he knows is the killer he suspect rhodes thats why he tries to kill him so quick.

the last women and the kid were the last 2 personalities he had but the doctor said there would only be one and the kid survived.

good movie liotta played good.

i liked his playing.

but there was an prisionor with them right.

so shouldent he be also one of the killers?
