  • dave lettrerman band sucks shit...

silence would have been golden at that moment...

but oh no ...gotta have a show...

  • he really loved his son

    :(

  • What a cheesy version of Manic Depression

  • Siempre se mueren los líderes de los grupos importantes de los 60's.Jim Morrison de los Doors,Janis,Jimi Hendrix..Lennon,...etc...

  • As soon as I saw Jimi's father I couldn't help but cry.

    R.I.P The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

  • It was very touching and nice to see. Regards, ♫♪ Vit

  • I've heard of some writers calling the paternity of Al Hendrix into account.

The family resemblance is overwhelming however.

  • Stand up fuck faces.

  • Those two exceptional talents died penniless.

  • His dad looks like son House :)

  • Having the Dave letterman Band play Foxey Lady is a Definite NO NO.

  • mitch love you forever

  • al would join in on the sax

  • I think Mitch (and also Noel) was humble person. The way Mitch bowed and thanked, "Thank you very much indeed your honor(?)/gentlemen(?)" had shown that. Wow, it's not what people thought about rock stars... or is it because they're getting old?

  • Please check out the time I brought Al Hendrix out onto the stage at my Jimi Hendrix Convention in England in 1984. The place erupted. Type in; Jimi Hendrix Convention.

  • It’s apparent that a few guitarists like Beck, Page, Van Halen have grown to resent Hendrix and the Hendrix legacy. The ones who feel that way have huge egos and they have come to realize that from here until the end of time, Rock Guitar and the name Jimi Hendrix will be inexorably linked. They are jealous of that fact.

  • @DONDIVA1969 beck and hendrix were actually close personal friends and both attended each others shows and respected each other's playing

  • What's the age difference between these two men? Noel Redding looks mummified as opposed to Mitch Mitchell.

  • @InsanelyINsane

in 66 when the experience formed, jimi was 24, noel 21, and mitch 19... 25, 22, and 20 when are you experienced came out

  • @InsanelyINsane In 1992 Mitch was 45 and Noel was 47. Jimi would have been 50 (that year). His dad Al was 72. You can see that Mitch was still thin like when he was young(er) compared to later on in life when he put on more weight.

  • awww we always remember Jimi n we will do forever!

  • love you al, and jimi......and mitch...and noel.....and buddy miles....and billy cox...and larry lee...lol

  • his father doesn't really have to say anything; his tears speak volumes. I would imagine this is his proudest moment as a father, as bittersweet as it is. God bless Noel, Mitch, Al, and James Marshall Hendrix.

  • Sutch q shame that all three men that spoke in thi video are no longer with us , maybe the guys are jammin out in rock n roll heaven , in jimis basement , with ol' al Hendrix upsairs tellin em to turn the hell down :,(

  • @13Musicmachine I imagine he's playing the saxophone along with them. We'll meet them all when our times come to jam in the sky with them. Jimi says it better, "I don't need you no more in this world, I'll meet you in the next one but don't be late."

  • this make me cry like hell !!

  • Seeing his dad is so touching and heartwarming.

  • Al

    the lads

    made it.

    cool

    RIP James

how bout some info...when for instance.

    Peace
