the yoobao executive leather case is quite similar but the camera cut-out isnt too big and it looks really nice on the inside. Also, its made of genuine leather :)
This is unbelievable. Last week i got this link ipad2reward (dot) info from my friend. Normally i don't believe any of this shit. Just participate in some kind of iPad2 Test program and get iPad2 for free. The word "Free" doesn't really exist in this world. The day after i tried give my email their and joined the program. And you know what! A Brand New iPad2 is in my hand now. I can't really believe this. And you don't have to believe me. But 3 friends of mine even got that thing before me.

i had one from Bestbuy. but after using it for few days (not heavy usage), the threat start coming off. and the edge getting flimsy. The inner edges that hold the bezel of the ipad is weak. It very soft & it might eventually loosen and ipad2 will accidentally fell out of the case. Design wise is great, but its poorly manifactured. Its just my thoughts. great review btw.
I picked this up at Best Buy when I picked up my iPad 2 at launch. It works really well and am quite happy with it. I wouldn't touch the smart covers by Apple with a 10 foot pole as I want something that will protect the back.
this case is garbage. the stitchings around the edges start to unstitch themselves and hanging out so i cut them off to make it look nicer. But i shouldnt have to cut anything or have anything breaking itself O.o Its basically falling apart in the stitching part and I dont even use it much. just in my house. I would recommend for people to wait for better cases for iPad 2. This is a waste of money.

Yea, not bad... the smart case isn't that smart... how about metal to metal marks on the ipad.. every time you click it on the the ipad its metal to metal??? won't it wear & tear at some point??? leaving a mark or sort???? how about them apples... ; )
Great review. but like someone already said it looks like Griffin just threw the case together for it to be a case at launch. I was going to buy it when i got my ipad but I really wanted the magnetic tech that the smart cover has. Hopefully one of the 3rd part case companies make a folio style case like this one but with the magnet tech built in so the ipad 2 can unlock when opened
Nice to see that griffin have something out for the new ipad 2 instead of that magnetic cover, The only gripe i think i would have with this case would be the front bezel covering, Think it's to flexable for me.
Apart from that, It's a good effort from Griffin, Like the new style on the video m8y :)
The fit and finish appears to be quite poor. Looks like it was slapped together really quickly to be one of the first cases to be released for the ipad2. I'll pass.
@lpbahoshy I can certainly see where you're coming from. However, realistically, the case is going to last a substantial period of time. If it doesn't, i'm sure if you email Griffin, they're replace it for you. But I get what you're saying.
