Someone was lucky and got tracers. I would if the person that was shooting the Barrett M82 was shooting the M82A3 which can support the Raufoss MK211 mod0 incendiary rounds. But more than likely it was just the M82A1.

@TheDuDe536 The recoil of the Barrett M82 is quite hard more of a hard shove than a push but you wouldn't want to do a continous 10 rounds. With it you can unleash 11rds (10+1) in under 10 seconds but it would just hurt too much, even with the rcoiling barrel, butt-pad, bipod, the fact it weighs 26lbs, muzzle break, fluted barrel...you wouldn't want to shoot it full auto let alone burst. If you want a full auto .50 get the permits and the money to buy a Browning M2HB .50 machine gun.

@21boxhead lol you need a special clearance liscense to even think about exlosives let alone miltary tanks and explosive weapons , so no i dont think there were, wouldnt make sense to me if there were, cuz then the targets would go bye bye and they'd have nothin to shoot at

This is my first time. I was there on Friday and Saturday. I enjoyed every minute of it! Worth every penny! Like you said it is a unique show. Worth the trip!!!

I live in Cincinnati north, and try to make it to at least one of the machine gun shoots they have each year. Didnt make it last weekend but I'll be there in Oct. Hopefully you come to another one, itd be awesome to meet you.
@4jud1 , We did in the fall. Our goal is not to recreate the shoot for Internet distribution anyway. They sell videos on it to fund the operation and would really not want us to put out a sensational video to compete with them. When we go up there, we'll just try to give you a flavor of what goes on.

@unit399 Those are 50 BMG tracers. They burn for a long time, about 50-10 seconds depending on the type.We got a good soaking rain around lunch time so Kenny allwed tracers and incendiary. He usually doesn't allow them until the night shoot if it is too dry.

Every gunowner should go to Knob Creek M. G. Shoot! I go once a year,every year.
It's professionally run, no alchohol or drugs allowed. You would NOT be ashamed to take Mom,wife,or kids here.
Don"t forget the 2 acre class 3 gunshow under the BIG pavillion!
I think uniformed Military and Boy Scouts get in free,but check.

@Chevy2U I am not white and I would go. Are there racists there....of course. But they would not stop me or any of my friends from enjoying the blessings of America. If I went in there waving flags from the country my mother immigrated from, and acting like a tough guy....then what should I expect. People are protective of the promise land. Hickok is right on the money. You will always eventually run into whatever your looking for.
