Nice rendition. Playing this song reminds me of my 8 track copy of "Burn" that I played on my father's 8 track player while jamming along with air guitar. Haven't heard this song in 20 years or more and somehow the title just popped into my head tonight.

@shearn666 - The harmonies vary the originals, maybe you could go back to them, cause your phrasing brings up some clichee phrasings. All in all your perfomrance is pretty cool & again shows how hard it is to "cover" such ingenious musicians as Deep Purple consisted of in 1974 when recording "Burn" where this piece is from and for my taste too often overlooked song.

I didn't hear any country in those vocals (not that there's anything wrong with that); nice & soulful IMO. I am old enough to know & have played the original, and I think this is an excellent cover which captures its spirit. Great work.

Was this "For the love of Purple" some kind of tribute show or something??

I basically think that this is a good cover of the song and the band is very tight both the singers have good voices and good stage prescence. but I think the

dude sounds like Keith Urban and the Woman also sounds too country. Instruments can capture the true essence of a great song but vocals that is a different story altogether "oh well" good job anyway...
