  • Fantastic! Bravo...So much beautiful chi flow!

  • .... find no words! melbourne is too far...

  • beautiful form, excellent performance

  • Right on! The Brother has got it going on.

  • Soft yet powerful, heavenly yet rooted. I'd like to see his applications and fajing. Is there an instructional video of this form? Thanks.

  • amazing

  • Superb performance and discipline.

  • this man is a master of his mind and body, something every martial artist should strive to be.

  • i learned something very powerful and very simple from watching this. Martial arts isn't about making people think 'oh i wouldn't want to mess with him'. It's about the betterment of ones true self.

  • very beautiful strong and balanced.

Does anyone know how to contact

Master Li Yong Liang via email or phone.

I would like to invite him to the UK

to give a seminar, and maybe teach me.

  • Is Master still teaching in Melbourne? Anyone has his contact? I am mersmerized by his movements.

  • Hi

I have his details if you like : email me

  • I haven't seen "Swimming Dragon Taiji" before. The form is beautiful and the performance by Li Yong Kiang is exquisite

  • Sublime technique and body control!

  • Bagua zhang. Bigfoot, thats taiji influence, not yoga. Dooing this movement even once a day is good enough. There are taiji movements in xingyi chuan too. This 3 style are deadly. Those serious people train wushu first to condition their body.Wushu gives extreme conditining. Then they branch out to 1 of the 3 boundless fist, taiji, xingyi, bagua. All chinese school most know wushu and 1 of the 3 boundless fist at least to a basic extent before specialising.

  • Very beautiful form and soothing to watch, and I can see some yoga influence in it also. He his legs must be very strong to do such low and slow stance.

  • It's as similar to yoga as taichi is.

  • @bigfatfoot

You don't require strength when utilizing chi.

You only require strength when utilizing the flexing of your muscles.

So to utilize chi, you must relax your body until you're loose enough. At that point, chi will be able to flow through your body easily.

When chi flows through your body, it will guide your movements. Just trust the chi and it will lead you through many exercises and stances, even without knowing the movements and stances beforehand.

Hope this helps in some way.

  • this man moves VERY well! but i've not seen any taiji like it before, seems a lot of qigong influences?

    what is this :) ?

  • You can call it dynamic Qigong also.

  • li is a wonderful teacher and very insiring i learnt year ago with him. Where is he now in Melbourne would love to continue learning with him.

  • Please let me know if there's a possibilty for me to learn this amazing arts in Germany. Especially in Hannover region. Thanks before!

  • very very nice form, thankyou!

  • Li is an inspiring teacher - we are lucky to have him in Melbourne.
