tonks i do agree with your points, i remember watching clarkson scoring a hat trick against dundee utd years ago and thought this guy was the man,but he crawled under a rock hence the poor scoring record, that was until MCGee came onto the scene,what a completely different player.Yes it maybe is too early for and appearance for Scotland but a stikers job is to score goals and thats exactly what he did on fri, remember Kevin Gallagher,got alot of caps for Scotland but never really scored.

tonks1982: Well, I wouldn't exactly say that he's a bad player. Some of the goals that he scored last season were out of the top drawer, but like I said, I can't judge him because I don't watch him on a regular basis.

Does he merit a scotland place? When everone is "fit" ? Probably not, but personally I'm chuffed for the boy as he's had a tough season, what with his uncle dying and all.

Besides, he scored against Cech on his debut, the boy done good. :)

I was at the game and was sooooo proud for Clarky to get a goal after the season he's had, if anyone deserved it he did. Great atmosphere created by the Tartan Army and the Czech public were friendly and in good spirits. Good luck to them in the Euros.

If ever a guy deserved a goal that was it. I was at the game and its fair to say when he scored there were a few lumps in throats!! As for Chrisitan Dailly, U cannae slag him. The guy will never pull out of squads like a few others I can think of. Overall, it was a good performance from the boys.

Terrific goal and a fitting end to what must have been, on a personal level, a horrendous season for the lad. Agreed with earlier point about Dailly - when are we going to wake up to these non-entity hangers on?
