  • I thought the Red baron was a shirt lifter! Hes got a Bird!

  • @Acme633 -- well, duhh . . . Everyone knows that standard kit for flyers in the first world war included hair gel, mustache trimmers, pressed uni's, nail files, mouthwash, and posh babes. What books have you been reading . . ?

  • Looks teriffic but too many liberties taken with the man and his story. They should have called it something else

  • Ein wahnsinns Film, könnt ich mir glatt 5 mal hintereinander ansehen :) Aber auch total traurig der schluss

  • I never know that on the day of his death, the Red Baron had a woman in night gown emerging from his tent.

  • the soundtrack brings alot of emotion into the movie, almost puts you there

  • @Dunepsycho283 I said ok acting... meaning average. The exception was Lena Headey. My point was how an effective soundtrack can bring emotion into the picture.

  • mein ich das nur oder ist das ein bissl async ?

  • mein dochtar habe ice langsame nicht mehr gesehen

  • I loved the movie! Great soundtrack, Great storyline, Ok acting...exception would be (Lena Headey) She is always brilliant! This scene and this movie shows how great a movie can be with a great soundtrack! Are you ready to fly? You're a brave man Baron...very brave! The only words exchanged in this whole seen!

  • @VonBAR0N what do u mean the acting was amazing

  • Der Urenkel von Richthofen ist bei mir im Altenheim, wie klein die Welt doch ist....

  • I doubt Herr Rittmeister had a fraulein in his tent.

  • Fonck also claimed more than 100, but history gave him 75, I believe. The Red Baron is one of my heroes. Someone asked me on another site how I could cheer for the enemy, but he transcends national boundaries and belongs to the ages now. All the lads were brave, from all the nations. It took guts to fly at 10,000 feet without a parachute.

  • Does he die?

  • @TheJr890 yes

  • Richthofen was the greatest pilot and man that flew on WWI. i would be honored to fly with him.

  • the greatest ace that ever lived! rip

  • @Joshmorrison86...... Rumored more than once that Udet was planted behind the desk as his scores mounted....but think the break enable him to recharge so he scored some more and survived....non credited scores easily put him over MVR 80 kills just as McCCuden,

Mick Mannock, and Charles Nussenger (75) especially but MVR also had denied claims.....Best aviators was probably Wehner Voss for Germany...and Charles Guynemer for France...

  • @crpdst2003

you forget that the number 80 of MVR is not the correct number

they only counted confirmed kills and only the planes that fell in german territory

from Manfreds diaries you can read out mre than 100 kills

  • @MarsImperator2 no, you can get the Barons own estimate in his memoir online someplace....

its all free and before my last computer fried its hard drive I had it ....pdf file.... someplace on line..... he certainly didn't get credit for one he got flying a two seater, early on the gunner got credit and not the pilot.....and he got few more that crash behind the lines but generally the Allies were flying into the wind and into German territory not getting confirmations..

  • When is this masterpiece going to be released in the USA, or at least put on HBO?

  • @Boelcke1916

    When American's care about WW1.

  • @Boelcke1916 forget it..its crap'..saw it Xmas gone.in the UK.

  • @Boelcke1916 it already is. its called the red baron

  • I would like a hat and a sweater like the Baron's. The scarf also isn't bad.

  • @Boelcke1916 so would i along with one of those Fokker dr1 triplanes or an albatross
