  • Your a good teacher Thanks for sharing! =)

  • very nice, (: i really liked these anfd this video was very clear and very helpful. I love your accent by the way ^.^

  • Thanx dear I completed 1st pair of slippers for my 3year old son......so easy to follow....

  • hola me encanto la zapatilla pero me encantaria y entenderia mucho mas si pudieras explicar en español mil gracias saludos desde mexico.

  • @nicte77v Sorry I only speak English

  • the way that i increased mine was a bit different but it may help someone. when i tried the increase with doing the 1 half double then 2 then the 1 pattern it came out way to big. so what i did is after doing the second round with the 2 half doubles in one stich i did a round of singles and then in the last stich before i slip stiched it i did 2 half doubles. i did that for about 4 rows. hope that sort of makes scence.

  • @SimplyMommy86 THanks for the tips :)

  • @bobwilson123 these are so cute, and comfortable! They are so easy to adjust, which is so nice, because they are only my second crochet project ever! (my first was your rose, which I made into a hair tie) Thank you so much!

  • what type of yarn did you use? i am trying to make another pair.. when i made my first the slipper didnt stay in shape like yours did

  • @DaKingJoshua22x Make sure your stitfhes are tight, to do this drop down a few hook sizes

    :)

  • If I wanted to use bulky yarn for this project would I do it the same way?

  • @MsBBW2012 hmmm .. I think you may have to use less stitches at the begining , try 10 and then do the next row with a increase in every 2nd..after a few rows you will be able to see if it will fit your foot

  • I'm having the same problem as pspgirl1234. It's coming out way too wide. I added a row as instructed because I'm making them form my mother-in-law & her foot is kinda fat. But then as I started adding the half double crochets in each stitch I started noticing that the base was starting to look more like a kippa. I'm about to unravel it and try again.'

  • @lytanner1 You could try 10 instead of 12 stitches in the first round :)

  • Havein a little trouble here mines keep ending up too big I know I must be doing something wrong but I've looked at the video over and over and I can't seem to get it right

  • @pspgirl1234 You could try 10 instead of 12 stitches in the first round

  • Thanks so much for the video!

  • Thank you very much.. im only 11 and i made my first pair of slippers.. i finished my first project!... and i owe it all to you.. again thank you very much

  • @DaKingJoshua22x WOW ! thanks for watching

  • @bobwilson123 your welcome.. i will surly watch your other vids

  • would this be good for beginners???

  • @TheMomcook Yes it should be ok , but you may have to adjust depending on your yarn

  • i made this and it came out great thank you

  • Alright here it goes I am gonna give this another try!! Wish me luck!

  • Yay! I made my first one...except I kept going round and round...and decreased on the last row...and made myself a bootie :) Now I need to duplicate it! Thank you so much for your fabulous lesson!!

  • How many yards of yarn would I need?

  • @TaoBee68 Im not 100% sure as i used scraps, but i would say 2 balls of yarn held at once .. 2 balss of 100gms

  • youre a very good and thorough teacher. i am an absolute beginner but this was really easy to follow. thanks so much for sharing your talents :D

  • @minervamcgonagall86 Thank you for your kind comment and watching my video

  • haha i dont think you talk too much at all!!!

  • ok never mind i re-watched the video and you pulled on the first string srry.

  • Why is it whenever i make the first circle with the 11 half double crochet the center of it is so big i can put my pinkie through it and yours is a tight circle? It doesn't matter what I'm making the middle circle is so large the same thing happened when i was making a beanie.

  • do you do this as a career? I excited to get started

  • @kwistiny Yes but the pay is terrible !! LOL Its more like a full time hobby =)

  • @bobwilson123 just made the right foot and it fits perfect thanks to your instructions. Just uploaded a video of it too giving you the credit. Thanks x

  • @emma13583 Your slipper looks great ! and thanks for the mention in the video =)

  • Can you just use 1 length of yarn instead of two?

  • @AddictedAussie Yes you can, but you may have to add a few more stitches to the first row. just remember to repeat it on the other side =)

  • I just finished my first slipper, I LOVE it !! Your directions and vidio is perfect detail, I have not been crocheting very long but really enjoy it and your directions/videos just make it so clear to follow.. Thanks so much and PLEASE keep posting..

  • @thebombdotcom93 If you are talking about the timber ne, a friend made it for me :)

  • I made this pattern with DC instead of HDC, as HDC always confuse me and i miss some or the other stitch...;-) The slipper are awesome..Thx alot for sharing a wonderful pattern. Your tutorial rocks. Looking forward to learn more.

Hopefully, i will try to make the same pattern with HDC next time.

    -Thanks

  • @korannesam Excellent :)

  • I want to try this pattern but before that i wanted to know can i work with a single yarn instead of double yarn...Please let me know.

    -Thanks

  • @korannesam Yes you can, just make sure that when you make the first 2 rows that it fits over your toes..if it doesnt you may need to add more stitches to the first row :)

  • @zoomzoom291 thanks so much !

  • So, I just thought I'd let you know that if you make this bigger...think clown slipper ;) and no strap, it will make a nice baby cocoon! I know a lot of newborn photographers use them but don't know how to make them! Just another idea from your tutorial!

  • @lisamborders OMG what a FAB U LOUS Idea ! thanks for sharing that ! Ill add it to the video :)

  • Wow, cute! :) Since I learnt to crochet using your wrist warmer video, I've been having loads of fun crocheting stuff, and now I'm doing a ripple blanket. Think I'm going to try out these cute slippers next! Are you on ravelry?

  • This may be a weird question but my dads birthday is coming up and I am gonna make him a big cheese platter with a nice wine, know I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to crochet a cheese :).. just for some nice decoration.. It a nice challenge right :P

  • Thats soo cute!!! Can you PLEASE make a tutorial on how to make a cute, lightweight loop/infinity/circle scarf? I really want to make one but don't know how... :( and your tutorials are sooo clear :) please make more vids ^.^

  • @HidupDalamMimpi I will add it to my long list of to do's :)

  • Just so you know that 8 ply is equal to US DK weight yarn. Our medium weight yarn/worsted weight is 10 ply so is a little heavier. This pattern is so cute...love your video tutorials!!

  • @annikalad THANKYOU !!!!!!!!! I will write that down so i know for future video's/projects xx

  • Those are awesome. I have size 4 uk, so would I have to make the beginning part smaller? Also is there something I can put on the bottom becasue yarn will be slippery and I am disabled don't want to fall. Thank you for your time for sharing this wonderful tutorial.

  • @DFG333 Hi there, You could try the first 3-4 rows until it forms like a mini beanie, if it is to big for your foot you can make 10 HDC stitches in the first round that will make it smaller, Puff paint that can be found at craft stores may work on the bottom to stop the slipping

  • @bobwilson123 Thanks for your quick replay. Not heard of puff paint before, but I'll look it up and see. I think I just need some to grip the carpet with to stop me slipping.

  • Love, Love, Love this pattern! I just made one, tomorrow I will make the 2nd one. Thank You!!! XOXOXOXO. P.s. Im Julie Anne from FB. The camel crochet lady.
