I went to Barnes and Noble a few days ago, and although I didn't buy Paper Towns (I'm flat busted and my sister has the hard cover one) I did leave an extensive Nerdfighternote in one copy and twelve to fourteen semi-randomly placed posted notes in books hopefully leading future readers to Paper Towns.
I received a Nerdfighter note. AFTER I'd bought the book. We had to take in books whose authors have a style we wanted to emulate for a writing class I took. I obviously took in Paper Towns. I got the book back and didn't bother opening it, because I'd already read it. Yesterday, after it sat on my bookshelf for a whole summer, I opened it only to have a note fall out commending me on my taste in books. o.O
I got the last copy of the Paper Towns paperback in the Barnes and Noble at 1972 Broadway in New York City! And ATTN: NERDFIGHTERS, I left nerdfighter notes there as well.

I checked to see if my local Library had a copy of Paper Towns. I didn't expect it to, because it's just Dayton, Ohio (you've been there! there's... not much there.)
It did! Two copies, in fact, and they happened to be both Happy Margo and Sad Margo. I stuck Nerdfighter Notes in them.
I really like the paperback cover of Paper Towns. It's nice-looking, and a good representation of the book. Plus I always like book covers more when they don't have faces on them. That way it doesn't ruin the character images in your head. Congrats on your great year, John! We love you!
I was so surprised to find this book in my school library, especially since most of the books are from the 1960's, but also because well, its a great book and my school puts our money to athletic department. It was such an amazing find, and I can't wait to buy the paperback!
Actually when I bought the hardcover of Paper Towns the book seller was really mean. He wouldn't order it and told me that the chain didn't carry it. So I went to a different location of the same chain where they had a bunch. So yeah not all book sellers are really nice. That could just be my bad luck. Things like that happen to me alot.

FACT OF AWESOME: I finally found it, and totally spent all of the money I could find in my pocket to buy it. I am now bill-less and change-less, but at least I have a delicious copy of Paper Towns!

Woah...may I fall out of my seat now? I didn't realize you were the one who wrote the Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, Let it Snow, and Paper towns, the first four books I ever enjoyed reading all the way through and can remember enjoy reading all the way through. Please write another book soon! Oh, and good luck on that screenplay! I needed to write a one hundred page screenplay for a class before, it was HARD. Good luck! You rock!

i bought paper towns in paperback AND looking for alaska today. (i hadn't bought LFA yet and i had money so i figured, might as well) i found a note in looking for alaska (but not paper towns...) and it just about made my entire weekend. i left some in paper towns!!!

I went to Barnes and Noble a few days ago, and although I didn't buy Paper Towns (I'm flat busted and my sister has the hard cover one) I did leave an extensive Nerdfighternote in one copy and twelve to fourteen semi-randomly placed posted notes in books hopefully leading future readers to Paper Towns.

I received a Nerdfighter note. AFTER I'd bought the book. We had to take in books whose authors have a style we wanted to emulate for a writing class I took. I obviously took in Paper Towns. I got the book back and didn't bother opening it, because I'd already read it. Yesterday, after it sat on my bookshelf for a whole summer, I opened it only to have a note fall out commending me on my taste in books. o.O

It kind of made my day when I got a nerdfighter note in my copy of Paper Towns almost a year ago in Saratoga. It said, "Paper Towns is amazing!"

I got the last copy of the Paper Towns paperback in the Barnes and Noble at 1972 Broadway in New York City! And ATTN: NERDFIGHTERS, I left nerdfighter notes there as well.

i live in a really small country town in the middle of no where in australia and the bookstore had lots of copies of paper towns which i was shocked about because they NEVER have any books i want. the australian cover is really cool.

I checked to see if my local Library had a copy of Paper Towns. I didn't expect it to, because it's just Dayton, Ohio (you've been there! there's... not much there.)
It did! Two copies, in fact, and they happened to be both Happy Margo and Sad Margo. I stuck Nerdfighter Notes in them.

I really like the paperback cover of Paper Towns. It's nice-looking, and a good representation of the book. Plus I always like book covers more when they don't have faces on them. That way it doesn't ruin the character images in your head. Congrats on your great year, John! We love you!

I was so surprised to find this book in my school library, especially since most of the books are from the 1960's, but also because well, its a great book and my school puts our money to athletic department. It was such an amazing find, and I can't wait to buy the paperback!

Actually when I bought the hardcover of Paper Towns the book seller was really mean. He wouldn't order it and told me that the chain didn't carry it. So I went to a different location of the same chain where they had a bunch. So yeah not all book sellers are really nice. That could just be my bad luck. Things like that happen to me alot.
