I don't like that you can see Margo plain as day on the hardback cover ... I'm glad I saw that cover AFTER reading the book ... My Margo's way hotter!

It's not really a nerdfighter note, but I just wanted to make a nerdifighter's day if one decided to check out the book.

  • I got a nerdfighter note in one of the John Green books I got last year! [I bought Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, and Paper Towns all in the same day] I don't remember which one it was in and atm I don't even know where the note is, but I do know I still have it somewhere. Sadly I didn't actually discover how awesome the vlogbrothers are until a couple of months ago, but I'm glad I eventually did. =]

  • (not a ten word comment =[ )

I went to Barnes and Noble a few days ago, and although I didn't buy Paper Towns (I'm flat busted and my sister has the hard cover one) I did leave an extensive Nerdfighternote in one copy and twelve to fourteen semi-randomly placed posted notes in books hopefully leading future readers to Paper Towns.

    Mission Accomplished.

  • is the paperback coming out in the uk?

  • HAHAHA "booksellers are nice... I promise."

  • I received a Nerdfighter note. AFTER I'd bought the book. We had to take in books whose authors have a style we wanted to emulate for a writing class I took. I obviously took in Paper Towns. I got the book back and didn't bother opening it, because I'd already read it. Yesterday, after it sat on my bookshelf for a whole summer, I opened it only to have a note fall out commending me on my taste in books. o.O

  • the 3rd world war will will be Pirates vs. Ninjas

  • It kind of made my day when I got a nerdfighter note in my copy of Paper Towns almost a year ago in Saratoga. It said, "Paper Towns is amazing!"

    It was right.

I have since been leaving my own nerdfighter notes in books :D

  • I got the last copy of the Paper Towns paperback in the Barnes and Noble at 1972 Broadway in New York City! And ATTN: NERDFIGHTERS, I left nerdfighter notes there as well.

  • i live in a really small country town in the middle of no where in australia and the bookstore had lots of copies of paper towns which i was shocked about because they NEVER have any books i want. the australian cover is really cool.

  • I saw this at Barnes and Noble on Tuesday and it was beautiful and amazing and I stared at it for quite a long time, until my sister literally dragged me out of the store.

  • You know, Mr. Green, it is harder than you'd think to find a paperback copy of Paper Towns.

Every time I go to my local bookstore they are COMPLETELY SOLD OUT.

This leads me to believe that there are far more Canadian Nerdfighters out there than I had ever imagined...

  • yay babies!

ariel is such a pretty name

  • Just bought

    1. Paper Towns (by John Green)

    2. The Hunger Games (by Suzanne Collins)

    Gotta start readin', boo yah

  • I'm SO CURIOUS who got that signed book of Paper Towns...and if they thought it was real or not...

  • I left a note in a copy of paper towns once. I really hope someone got it =]

  • i see harry potter. :]

  • Just bought it!

  • I think you should have like surreptitiously opened the book to the back cover, where there's that picture of you...and seen what the book seller's reaction was. XD

  • I checked to see if my local Library had a copy of Paper Towns. I didn't expect it to, because it's just Dayton, Ohio (you've been there! there's... not much there.)

It did! Two copies, in fact, and they happened to be both Happy Margo and Sad Margo. I stuck Nerdfighter Notes in them.

  • congrats to Julie and Ariel! And Paper Towns in paperback...which I still need to purchase.

  • The paperback cover is awesome.

    The cake is awesome.

  • Did she name her Melody?

  • I was at Ralphs yesterday, turned a corner in an aisle, and there it was!!!! Paper Back Paper Towns PLUS Katherines!!! both were 20% off!!!

  • I really like the paperback cover of Paper Towns. It's nice-looking, and a good representation of the book. Plus I always like book covers more when they don't have faces on them. That way it doesn't ruin the character images in your head. Congrats on your great year, John! We love you!

  • Thanks for posting!

  • john, i have a question

would you approve if i changed my name to Margo Roth Speigelman? lol

  • What is the book about?

  • It's a romance novel about this girl... just read the book.

  • Pretty please, Asia won't have Paperback Paper Towns until 2010!

  • How many times do I need to write ten words!?!

  • i mrenting the play away frm the library. i can read in public and see were i m going lolz

  • Half of me is the 1/3 of me you see.

  • I was so surprised to find this book in my school library, especially since most of the books are from the 1960's, but also because well, its a great book and my school puts our money to athletic department. It was such an amazing find, and I can't wait to buy the paperback!

  • Actually when I bought the hardcover of Paper Towns the book seller was really mean. He wouldn't order it and told me that the chain didn't carry it. So I went to a different location of the same chain where they had a bunch. So yeah not all book sellers are really nice. That could just be my bad luck. Things like that happen to me alot.

  • harry potter is in the backgroud AH!
