PS - The accident at 1:05 occured on the final lap of the 96' Indy 500 and involved Alessandro Zampedri - the car flying into the catch fence - and Eliseo Salazar - the car carrying the onboard camera. There was a third car involved, but I do not recall who it was.

Not a single one of these crashes was fatal. The most serious injuries sustained by any of these drivers was likely Briscoe when he went flying into the Chicagoland fence.
