  • well, after finding this link on moogmusic forum and seeing kevins prices for it i decided to visit the website to make the purchase and was shocked at the actual cost and conditions of purchase. Kevin you wrote in the forum that prices would be between $395 - $495, however on your purchase page price starts at $595, also i have to send my keyboard off for you to install at $150 + $75 return postage from the UK. Im looking at around $800, around $750 for people in the US. ?????

  • Kevin; I'd buy one. What I'd really like would be if it included a colour led upgrade for the wheels, and, resolved the capacitor key drift issue when using midi, and while we're dreaming, also brought the f to c to make it easier to fast tune the studio rigs. and user installable?

  • @kidtronic

There is no drift or transposition (C/F) issues when using this unit.

Only if you use the jacks on top for CV from a MIDI converter.

  • awesome. I need a few of these. I hope you'll be able to produce these.

  • Amazing Idea, this would resolve a lot of keyboard contact problems. Will you be developing this technology for other Pratt Read keyboards?

I think this would be awesome if available for a Pro One as it has one of the worst keyboards.

By the way Thanks for your amazing work on my Mini it has become one of my favorite studio pieces.

  • @jebeq2007

    Thank you very much.

It would probably work very well in a Pro-One.

The design can work with keyboards up to 49 notes.

It uses extremely low power and will work off almost any synth's power supply.

Unfortunately, I don't have the money to build 'em.

I don't know if the idea will ever actually hit the market.

Very frustrating because so much work has been done, but the parts are expensive.

I hope to make them to market though and first be available for Minimoogs, then Odys, etc. Thx

  • Superb idea, Kevin!!

I've read alot about you and you reputation for a while now; just sorry this didn't come out a year or so ago when I was having big problems with my Model D keyboard!

    Best wishes

    Mike

  • I would so buy a MIDI keyboard utilizing this technology. 61 keys, perhaps? That's just brilliant!

  • I think you have hit upon a very very marketable product!

  • The Mini's are magical instruments they still sound better than any other synths.
