@93isanchez - HAHAHA!! That was a scarf. Back in the day, when women sat on the front row (they couldn't wear pants in church), they draped a scarf over laps to cover their legs. Mother is carrying on that tradition. It did kinda look like her drawers fell off though. Hysterical!

I Think practiced shout music makes no sense. I suppose to be done under the anointing so therefore it shouldn't be rehearsed. Shout music is too complex now and its more a distraction than anything. I like the fact that they are keeping the old flavor in there shout and it don't sound rehearsed it sounds like its done under the guidance of the spirit

There are times when I'm playing (during service) and God will send me an idea and I'll want to incorporate that, so I have the musicians practice it. I do think, however, that there are a lot of musicians who take it too far and use shout music as an opportunity to showboat/distract from what the ultimate purpose is: praise.

I love being sanctified!!!!!! I wouldn't trade it for anything!!! But I don't like it when someone begins to do all that singing in the microphone, the music was strong enough to carry! If the Bishop doesn't direct it, STAY OUT OF IT! Bishop Blake did what he needed to do...and the way the spirit wanted him to move. I so needed that! Let the old and young go forth in the dance!! Glory!
