They are worth way more than that buddy. $300 is petty change. More like $3,000. I have 2 x 5+ inch Tiger Cowries(Hawaiian). They are worth about a couple grand each.
@alawaiman Tiger cowries can usually fetch 20 euros apiece. The most expensive one i have seen (and my family are BIG shell taxonomic collectors-over 20 golden cowries) Is around 400 euros for exceedingly rare ones. Golden cowries, in top quality, will usually grab a decent 90-100 euros
They are worth more in the ocean with the snail in it.
