Hondas were never built to be all that fast in a straight line. GM has made cars just as cheap as Honda has. And besides, the Impala SS probably can't take corners as well as the RSX. They're two totally different cars, no use trying to compare them in either a drag race or road course race, it's obvious they have totally different purposes.

RSX has no top end, no shit it's a 4cyl. This is why people mod them to even out the top end with the burst of power at first. I spanked these on my Acura TL-P no problem, a fat V6 luxury boat. lol. Now I own an 03' RSX-S ;).

lol the 2.0L K20Z1 in the RSX is one of the best engines ever conceived. That thing is bullet proof and capable of immense power on pretty much stock internals. Huge potential there. It just has to be unleashed.
Well considering the power the weight ratio is lower on the RSX I would only expect it to loose. And to be quite frank it held up pretty well to a car with an engine that is nearly 3x the displacement.

the difference is torque my friend. the v-8 is gonna make a shitload more torque than the inline 4. over 100hp a litre is impressive, but it dont have the torque to overcome a v-8
TQ does not mean anything weither you make it uptop and compensate for it by gearing or make it down low and have no top end it really doesn't matter.
not really it comes down to power to weight ratio an intake wont really matter a hole lot the biggest restriction on all vortec motors is the exhaust manifolds you will gain about 4 times as much power going to headers than just an intake

True, it depends on alot of things. But it's always cheaper to install a nitrous kit (on any car). F/I is expesive and 95% of people with K20's are N/A (at least where I live).

They do make a kit it is for the 5.3 grand prix gxp but the same kit works for the impala the only reason I don't have it is that it is $5,000.00

lol the 2.0L K20Z1 in the RSX is one of the best engines ever conceived. That thing is bullet proof and capable of immense power on pretty much stock internals. Huge potential there. It just has to be unleashed.

Well considering the power the weight ratio is lower on the RSX I would only expect it to loose. And to be quite frank it held up pretty well to a car with an engine that is nearly 3x the displacement.

the difference is torque my friend. the v-8 is gonna make a shitload more torque than the inline 4. over 100hp a litre is impressive, but it dont have the torque to overcome a v-8

not really it comes down to power to weight ratio an intake wont really matter a hole lot the biggest restriction on all vortec motors is the exhaust manifolds you will gain about 4 times as much power going to headers than just an intake

True, it depends on alot of things. But it's always cheaper to install a nitrous kit (on any car). F/I is expesive and 95% of people with K20's are N/A (at least where I live).

No, It's not my car. As you can tell by my youtube account name, I like GM. I know all about their vehicles. You can tell this is an Impala SS by the sound of the V8 in his other videos of the car. Besides, it says it's an SS in the video desciption.
