  • I wish i was trippin on acid right now

  • What's the soundtrack here ?

  • I have dreams worse than these pictures ha lol

  • Giger is incredible. He can give birth to worst mind's nightmare: I think he's the Edgar Allan Poe of our years, maybe better

  • The Alien life cycle is interesting. Its the facehugger that actually carries the Alien "egg." The Queen lays the Facehuggers and then the little things are what encounter the victims. Attaching itself on certain sized creatures. People, large dogs, and anything else that meets its requirements. Poor Space Jockey was probably trying to get the Aliens far from its homeworld. Facehugger must have got him sometime while in space travel.

  • Beep beep Beep beep Beep beep Massive fucking signal man! 40 Meters Beep beep Beep Beep Beep 30 Meters! BEEP BEEP BEEP 20 meters! That can't be right thats inside the room!

  • @rbh1138 ehm.... Wrong. The soundtrack is from the original Alien (1979), not Aliens (1986).

  • @soberek Dude I know.

  • Is it wrong that this gave me a boner?

  • @CuckooNow Yes and no. It's meant to make you feel aroused, while simultaneously feeling terrible about it.

  • @KaptainSparta So it's like most of the internet in that respect then?

  • @CuckooNow lol, sure, let's go with that.

  • oh my (not existing) god !the muussiiicc tearress my whatsoever into pieces ,llooll...

  • Giger certainly had his own style but the movie itself was unique in its direction, Ridley Scott really brought out the tension, style and horror that made Alien a classic.

  • Thanks for the swift reply dude.Sweet, that would satisfy my curiosity. Will have a look at the local comic store..

  • Space Jockeys? That the large person that was depicted in one of the alien flicks?

  • @PEKT02 that thing in the big ass chair on the first one in that derelict space ship

  • @Guerillaradio13 Do u know where I could find any more info about them? What their role was regarding the alien mythos

  • @PEKT02 i have no idea to be honest sorry! but i know Ridley Scott is directing the new Alien prequel, hes got a story lined up about the space jockeys and aliens and hes got the guy who wrote lost to brush the story up make it even more crazy. im sure if you look for alien comics there will be some background for you there! try amazon.

  • This is some scaring music peaple!!!!!!

  • Alien 5 will have some of these Aliens.

    The older Facehugger ect...

and we are going to learn alot more about the spacejockey.

  • at 2:27 I love how that piece looks like an ancient Egyptian or Maya stele with the relief carved figures and the hieroglyphs.

  • HR Giger is a source of inspiration. :)

  • I used to have this Giger/Alien book all these images are from. Some asshole stole it from me in high school!!!

Nice editing job! thanks for posting!!!!

  • hr giger is a genius. the design of the alien is so unique, and truly the most horiffic creature ever imagined.

  • very good

  • DVD Video Soft: Free Youtube to Mp3 Converter

  • Boy those images are amazing.

The creative work gone into Alien movie was magnificent to recreate all this art.

    Outstanding.

CGI can never create anything like this, EVER.

I hope R. Scott makes a proper good Alien 5.

  • their gonna make an alien 5?

the first two movies were good but the others... meh

  • It's supposed to be a prologue I think. Atleast Ridley is doing it. Hopefuly he wont use CGI.

  • bestzzperminute, do you know there will be another Alien with R. Scott??? I sure hope so.

  • @Bloodline616 there is he wants to make it for 2012 ive heard, about the spacejockey

  • There is still hope. According to sources, Ridley Scott and James Cameron have once again considered picking up the script they both were working on for Alien 5, where we'd get to meet the Space Jockeys. They first dropped it when FOX announced that they would rather go with AvP instead of an Alien 5. Cameron was outraged and swore never to touch the franchise again, but with a little luck we might see the Space Jockeys in the future.

  • Yes, let's hope they do the original movie justice and redeem the series...

  • @xxnightopsxx I quite agree, the AvP spinoffs have ruined the original Alien franchise, and made it probably more watchable for younger viewers, it never scared any of my eight year old nephews like the original ones did....

  • we need more hr giger style stuff though it will make it awesome

  • @thebbeenn alien prequel is on the cards, the writer of lost is penning it down with help from ridley scott who is directing it! but he said the whole alien thing has been done to death now and AVP ruined the films imagery so hes looking for new fresh horror ideas. and maybe HR Giger to come out of retirement to make a new fucked up alien

  • @Guerillaradio13

Yeah I read about that. The Alien franchise lost a great asset in Cameron leaving, but I'm phyched that R. Scott is still on board - and that he's gonna take the franchise in a new direction. Giger needs to be part of it.

  • @thebbeenn 2 yrs on and finally Scotts space jockey movie is soon to be out :D guess we all got our wish

  • I have been an Alien fan since I was 12 years old when Alien was released, I'm 42 now, and I can't stop admiring Giger's world and art, it's something that really takes you to a different and original dream, very good posting, and the original soundtrack music from the movie does enhance the video quite a lot, it's a shame the industry mixed the Alien concept with the Predator, it's like throwing a Monet, a Manet, a Rembrandt to the garbage ...

  • I totally agree. When I first saw Alien when I was a kid, I didn't make further than when Kane's chest exploded. As I grew older, and saw Aliens and Alien 3, I was just captured. The Alien is such an amazing creation, but so are also the Space Jockey and the Derelict ship. It's a shame they ruined the entire continuum, and a posibility of getting to know the Space Jockies - the "true" aliens. AvP is just a trite cross-over where the Aliens have been reduced to simple rabid animal creatures.

  • Yeah ! I thought of the same thing since I was a kid, it would've been a great story, if Shusett, O'Bannon, Ridley and Giger had worked somethig out in order to create an Alien 2 movie regarding the space Jockey, the Alien planet, the concept itself, using the same perfect quality that characterized the 1979 Alien film, unfortunately, we, the fans only got to see crappy and distorted Alien Saga movies in which the real art was lost even with Aliens and Alien 3 or Resurrection, but, so it was...

  • EXCELLENT

  • AMAZING

  • Thanks for all the work! I wished you'd visit Gruyère or Chur someday, you'd love it!

Could you tell us perhaps which music you used, especially the intro? Thanks!

  • Is it the Alien score?

  • yes, it's the Spanish bootleg - it's a lot better than the original CD which is very limited.

PS thanks for your comments everyone.

  • I instantly loved it, but had to take my taste with a slice of humour after reading the Wikipedia article:

"Scott had originally wanted the film to be scored by Isao Tomita. [...] Scott did not like Goldsmith's original main title piece (a sense of romanticism and lyrical mystery building throughout the film to suspense and fear), however, so Goldsmith rewrote it as "the obvious thing: weird and strange, and which everybody loved." "

    :D

  • Could it be possible to have the song, please? I want to fall asleep with it when I go to bed. I would be very gratefull for that...

  • what for? so you can have nightmares!

  • No: dreams.

  • This is the Alien Soundtrack. It is played at the beginning of Ridley Scott´s timeless original from 1979. It also appears in the movie when they climb down into the Alien spaceship.

  • Agree with all of you, this creature is horrific but yet so beautiful and the vid was just awesome 10 minutes of Gigers artwork is just...AWESOME!

  • It is so horrific but beautiful. The creature and its inception must have come from the deepest, darkest places from his mind. I have always found the creature to be beautiful. Great video; the music really adds to its presentation.

  • what a talent HR Giger is a brilliant vid as well

  • Aesthetically this was presented very nicely and the music added in creating a mood witch replicates the original good one M8

  • this is awesome! fantastic!

  • agreed, well done!

  • Thanks guys.

  • that was really pretty cool mate
