what is uncommon for guys?facial?if someone has unclear skin its normal that gonna have facial...uncomon for guys is painting nails not facial for teenager with skin problems...
@sinoperture - sorry if you feel this is an utter waste of time. differences in culture, age, environment, and beliefs may contribute to what "normal" things guys would do. but thanks for expressing your opinion. you have a good one. :)
The light-wand-thing from 0:48 - 1:12, what is it called? I mean, is it some kind of a laser or led light or something? Genesis Laser or Pearl Laser, etc. what is its specific name? Please tell me. Please please please
@iH8Me4ever - it's called the Laser Wand to close the open pores. Not sure exactly what specific laser it is, but i'll ask when i visit the salon again.
hi i know im late..but this really interest me..i have very large open pores on my nose from picking at it..and now they wont close and it looks terrible..ive been having them like that for months...does the laser actually close them for ever??
the laser is designed to close the pores that were temporarily opened during the facial session. there are some pores that are really open for some persons, like in my case, i have open pores in my nose area. the laser can help minimize the open pores, although not permanently closes it, coz on your next session, it will open again during the steaming session. there are some creams available designed to minimize pores, so you can use that at a daily basis to help.
what exactly is the large open pore on your nose from pricking? while pores are opened during the steam session, it's not something that will remain open forever, although some people do have open pores in certain facial areas. but what i can think of is that the pricking done on your nose was not done properly, therefore it left scars or possibly enlarge the pore area caused by infection. do you wash your face after your facial treatment? it's advisable not to wash the face till the next day.
yes i have washed my face after a facial...ive tried the clinique pore minimizer but that didnt work for me..so i just discarded every cream out there..do you know of a good one that will actually shrink the pores on my nose?? i guess since i have really super oily skin my pores just won't close..i was thinking maybe surgery..i don't know what to do :( not even makeup covers them..
this is in health and beauty facial salon in robinson's pioneer. our face already has open pores, and what facial treatments do is they clean the clogged pores. It doesn't open the pores further since our pores opens by itself when exposed to heat. that's why they steamed your face before pricking it to help open the pores and for easy removal of whiteheads/blackheads. after the pricking, they use laser wand to close the pores.
i have never done a facial, and i'm planning too but im scared its going to hurt. does that electric thing they used on you hurt? and how painful is that pricking stuff....im soo scared lol!
The laser wand did not hurt a bit, it's meant to actually close the skin pores. The pricking session is what hurts, especially if it's your first time. But the more you have facial treatments, the more you'll get use to the pain. =)
hi there tsenu2b. Yup it does help close the pores. it only takes a few minutes and they normally do this every after the pricking session prior to putting the mask treatment on the face. it is advisable to have at least two facial treatments in a month, every 15 days. =)
that's what we call METROSEXUALITY

Umm as opposed to doing what guys normally do? Like play sport, drink beer, play video games, go to work........ what an utter waste of time.
