The Red Hood has been my favorite DC antihero/villian i was kinda disapoinred how they did him in B&B but i guess reconizing the death and reserection of Todd would have been to dark for this series.
@Wolfsbane909 No, Todd as Red Hood is most defiantly not a hero. An anti-hero, the ends always justify the means, they will do all sorts of evil acts if it means for the "greater good" and Todd would most defiantly do that sort of thing, working for him or killing them, one way or another the bad guys were being taken care of or controlled.
@Wolfsbane909 bag full of heads of the liutenents of the crime bosses sound like a thing a hero will do? Thats something anti heroes do. Other antiheroes are Punisher, Spawn, and Namor.
@wynnefox Besides the lieutenants shouldn't have been dealing to "kids", Red hood only had one simple rule and that's what happens when you break it. Besides Red Hood was cleaning up the city and crime was at an all time low. Who is Batman to even say? If given the chance you don't think Batman would avenge the death of his murdered parents?
@Wolfsbane909 I think you're getting lost on what my argument is. Look up the definition of Anti-Hero. Batman himself is one in most presentations of him. Red Hood is most defiantly is.
This show reminds me of a cartoon verison of the campy 1960's Batman. Speaking of which, the Red Hood sounds sort of like a younger Adam West. BAM! POW! BOOM!!
@wcthesecret lol i know it was just a perfect set up for a joke...ER! get it...lol i agree wiht the voice but at the same time wiht the way they are going wiht this as more of the childrens/ classic golden age modernized it kinda works well...almost reminds me of the original voice from the old 70's cartoon
I would love to see them portray The Jester at some point, I know it's not a huge difference between the two but in the comics - Jester had some sweet weapons.
I've gotten this cool action figure from a comic book store; it's an action figure of the Red Hood, but you can remove the hood and switch it with the Joker's head
I saw this episode, and then read the killing joke. I was a bit dissapointed by it, I was hoping that the Red Hood would be a bit more than a comedian who had a bad day
You obviously did NOT see the episode. This takes place in an alternate dimension where the roles have been reversed. Bad guys and good guys have been reversed.
The Joker is a comedian who had a bad day while the Batman is a boy who had a bad day but kept going.
*alternate dimension*
Owlman is a boy who had a bad day and became evil. The Red Hood is comedian who had a bad day and kept going.
I was talking about The Killing Joke version of the Red Hood. After seeing the Brave and the Bold, I thought that's what the killing joke would be like
This is the joker in the parallel earth where the villains are the heroes and vice versa in this episode they will show that red hood is a hero with no powers like batman then Owlman(supervillain Batman) threw him in a chemical vat but he survived and though deformed continued to became a hero.
these was joker when he was jack napier (his true name).red hood was his alias before he became joker. In Batman: The Killing Joke, Alan Moore wrote an alternate origin of the Joker, and thus the Red Hood; the man who would become the Joker is portrayed as a former chemical engineer, now a struggling stand-up comedian with a pregnant wife.
He actually does not have a name known, as he propably forgot it. The name Jack Napier was only used in the first live-action Batman movie cause they needed a name for him as they didn't want to use The Red Hood which wouldn't be very realistic as for a live action movie (can you imagine a batman movie with a guy fighting against batman with a red bucket on his head...). :)
Well sure. The same reason why I can imagine Batman fighting a man in a suit that controls cold weather, or a guy in a green leotard covered in question marks.
yes that is correct he was a employee of the ace chemical plant then he became red hood to steal from them and to escape he had to swim in an chemical pipe when he resurfaced his skin became white, red lips and green hair thus being the Joker.
@huneylove5 Yeah that's one of many stories involving the Joker, but different writer tend to make new stories and sometimes ignore the previous stories all together. So DC's excuse is that it's a parallel universe.
@huneylove5 he was called red hood because he put it on 2 rob a place for money because he failed his job as a circus clown but then batman showed up so red hood jumped off a building and landing in acid which turned his skin white lips red hair green and left him stuck wit a smile then he went crazy and became the joker so basically u were right
@huneylove5 Yeah he was a criminal, but perectly sane. But when Batman cornered him he fell into a vat of chemicals which turned his skin white and his hair green, which was permanite and turned him insane.
@huneylove5 This is an alternate reality where the man who would have become the Joker instead used his tragic experience of becoming disfigured to become a hero, in the same way Batman used his tragedy to make him stronger. Red Hood's symbol is the Ace, as opposed to the Joker's symbol of the Joker playing card. I hope that there is a future episode where Red Hood faces off against the Joker. That would be epic.
I like this Red Hood better than the different one who is Dick Grayson i think.
i read before i seen this vid i think that joker got chemicals and went mad and turned into joker he killed robin o think and he came back as the red hood and killed joker with a crow bar and became something called the new robin i dunno though i just read it somewhere
I wish that people understood that there's light and dark versions of Batman. If only a comic book person could provide me with some early issues of Batman so I can show them.
This doesn't seem to have any connection at all to the original story of The Red Hood before he became The Joker. I wonder if he falls in the chemicals in the end...
not the end but the begging this is another Red Hood I think cause even though he is already Joker at the face hes the good guy....or not cause at the end he send BAtman back home but maybe in another Universe
Actually it sorta does, this is the opposite world good=bad bad=good, so batman threw red hood into the chemicals and his face is already disfigured, hes supposed to be batman in the opposite
if mark was to come back and do the Joker, they'd have to bring back Kevin Conroy, Batman from the 90s. mark is currently working on Batman: Arkham Assylum for video games.
Auuuuuuuuu Damn it at firs i thought it was Jason Todd :(
