Yup! She is. It is the way that Japanese sing I suppose but her voice is relatively low for a Japanese singer so it sounds so mature compared to W like when they sing Robo Kiss or other artists with high voices.

She was a little younger here too, so her voice is a lot lower now as well. Her voice kind of lost it's nasal a bit with the way she sings lately. I think a lot of H!P artists are encouraged to sing in a "cutesy" voice anyway.

Either way, I thought this was a cute performance. I can't wait to see what she can pull off with Avex.

no, its not how all japanese singers sing. its just her style. she does sing a bit choppy but there are lots of other japanese singers that have different styles in singing, like matsuura aya for example.
