It doesnt matter if it's three chords man, writing songs is about writing good songs not showing off. Writing a rock or metal song is not about playing crazy stuff on the guitar, that's what showing off is about. Writing a rock or metal song is about writing a good song which is what limp bizkit is extremely talented at doing.
