  • A young Robert Newton makes a brief appearance in this as the Spanish ambassador. Still with traces of a Cornish accent 'e.g. The way he says 'tamarrroww' (tomorrow) ha ha. ha ha.

  • If taht is Vivien Leigh´s own voice I only have one thing to say: What a beautiful voice!

    She´s so sweet and gentle.

  • that's Tamara Desni in the second two scenes not VIivien Leigh

    thanks for uploading anyway

  • ahaha :D How cute!

  • Vivien Leigh did not have green eyes. Her eyes were blue.

During the filming of GWTW a yellow light was shown into her eyes to give them a green cast , in keeping with the description of Scarlett O'Hara.

  • she was so beautiful <3

  • I can get use to her real English accent. I keep imagining that southern belle voice that made Scarlett O'Hara come to life.

  • I have never seen a better actor or actress, they were absolutely perfect and perfect for each other.

  • she is not vivien, the one who sings !

  • I didnt know Laurence Olivier sang so well, this man had a lot of talent and so gorgeous. No wonder Viv was head over heels in love with him.

  • Oh my God!! Laurence is so handsome, charming, sexy in this extract!!!!!! And what a wonderful actor!!!!! I've seen him in only two movies: "Rebecca" and "Spartacus", and he was perfect!!!

  • Laurence Olivier was quite the most gorgeous classy, guy! I didn't like him so much in Rebecca, because he kind of looked a bit too mature for his age, good movie though nonetheless. If you're looking to see more os his handsome classy elegance, I highly recommend Wuthering Heights, he was really worthy of swooning over in that, and Pride and Prejudice!

  • Sir Laurence Olivier's perfect face is the face of god

  • Очень красивый фильм! Оба главных героя Вивиен и Оливье - просто очаровательны! А уж как мне нравится баллада!!!

  • This is a delightful film. I think it is his real voice (Olivier had been a talented choir boy).

  • she, she was a "snow white figure" black hair, pale green eyes and white, white skin. I do love an exotic dark skin look too. My best friend's daughter is half Cuban and my best friend is english....the child is remarkable and striking in her features and the most gorgeous chocolate skin

  • Laurence Oliver!! beautifulllllllllllllll man!!!!!..I liked so much =G

  • Vivien and Larry were the sexiest couple that ever lived!

And the most beautiful. Too bad they didn't produce an offspring that lived. :(

  • I know!They would've had beautiful children!

  • is that really vivien leigh? i saw her in streetcar and it looks like two different people

  • ... of course it is Vivien Leigh.

  • yeah in streetcar she had LOADS of makeup to make her look older because she was only in her thirties.

  • Lorripops, thank you! And why is everyone thumbing me down because I'm not very familar with Vivien as an actress yet? What idiots, if there's a problem, talk to me about it instead of anonymously thumbing down like a coward. Thumb me down again, only making me famous.

  • It's no problem. :D I wouldn't thumb you down, it's fine to ask a question :)

  • Aww thank you! I can't wait to see more of her movies =) I already saw StreetCar for school and I thought she was beautiful, even though she was meant to look old. In other movies she must be STUNNING.

  • Oh yes she is gorgeous, her black hair (i personally envy) is just stunning. I always think it's strange because in Gone With The Wind and Streetcar she has a really convincing accent, and then you see her in Fire Over England with her natural british accent, it's like wow. Lol. Have you seen Gone With The Wind? :)

  • o god yes u cant stop staring at her in envy! gone with the wind those gorgeous blues eyes and that black hair, like snow white come to life.

  • o also other movies i reccomend them all shes just fantastic. but if u havent seen gone with the wind go watch it! hehe

  • she had green eyes

  • lifeinthefastlane (dot) ca/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/bad_-breath_1sfw (dot) jpg

  • @ClassicMovieClub one correction, she had greeen eyws, like the eyes of a cat and the black hair, yes................she was indeed very beautifoul and talented

  • @ClassicMovieClub snow white had brown eyes...

  • The woman in the first clip is indeed Vivien Leigh. The woman in the second clip, singing with Olivier, is Tamara Desni.

  • Its odd that she only sings in part of it she had a remarkable voice :)

  • i just realised what you said forget what i said :| lmao

  • I think Larry and Viv are my favourite celeb couple, they were both so beautiful and super talented.

  • laurence looks abit like ewan mcgreggor but love them both :)

  • I agree 100% and i love them both also

  • :).

  • I like that song... Vivien and Laurence have both a very nice voice... I wish I could see this movie, but I can't find it anywhere!

  • me ethier

  • when I first saw the movie I thought they both were dubbed, but upon closer listening, it does sound like Vivien's voice. I did have doubts about Olivier's voice in it, but I didn't know he was trained to sing as a young choirboy. interesting!

  • Does anyone else find Oliviers`s eyes wonderfully expressive? He is such a brilliant actor, he comes across completely natural on screen.

  • Was there EVER a more beautiful face than Laurencc Olivier's?

  • I think it's their real singing voices. Vivien Leigh was very musical indeed, didn't she study cello in her youth?- and Laurence Olivier's singing voice here is quite similar to his later singing voice in " The Entertainer"... on another note, I think Vivien Leigh was simply exquisitely beautiful!!

  • i think it was viv's singing voice but larry's is totally dubbed

  • cool!!! XD

  • i really think that's viven but not laurence

  • vivien could sing, she won a tony award for best actress in a musical, in 1960 something for a musical called toravich. so she must have had some sort of voice, unfortunatly there are very few recordings of her singing.

  • that is definately Olivier singing:) He was trained to sing as a young choirboy. He also later sang in the Beggars Opera, although he later confessed that singing with real opera singers wasn't the best idea he had ever had !:)

  • In the first bit that is definitely Vivien Leigh singing in her trademark schoolgirl trill (see other movies-always the same); Olivier very dubbed;self-confessed non-singer.

  • OMG HE'S SO HOT!!! But neither of them are singers. But still, MY GOD HE'S HOT!

  • his voice is totally dubbed lol

  • he sure is isnt he...

  • I like your vid clip and I've rated it as awesome. I've done another video clip on some old cigarette cards of 1930's movie stars, including: Laurence Olivier, Bing Crosby, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, Clark Gable, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Greta Garbo,Johnny Weismuller, Gary Cooper and Carole Lombard.

  • i love larry's robin hood costume, hes HOT
