Unfortunately GXSCC doesn't disable all the instruments it should when running in Famicon mode. Then again, the famicon's sound system is vastly more powerful than the NES's to begin with due to Nintendo trolling Americans with a crippling design flaw in the NES ;/
Paper Mario 64 is my favorite game of all time and runner up being mario RPG. The thousand year door is excellent, SPM was very good to me. The only things I didn't like was the non turn based theme, and your partners didn't talk. I loved the characters and storyline. But it was too easy. Pre ordering a blue 3DS along with the new paper mario, and probably going to take the first 2 days of school off when it comes out.
It might be eight bit, but it sounds like it wouldn't be able to be played by a NES (mabey with the FX chip in some of the games, but normally no....) at least thats what I think. Good Remix though!
@coreykun667 Intelligent Systems is an in-house dev. team, though. It's just not the major team (imo, Game Freak beats it out, but I'm just a huge Pokemon fan [and yeah, I know Game Freak made a Mario game {Mario and Wario} and that Intelligent Systems made a Pokemon game {Pokemon Puzzle Challenge}]).

Yeah, Nintendo are doing worse than they used to. I think if SEGA could pull their act together and bring out a good, polished Sonic game, that would do fantastically for both SEGA and Nintendo.
I don't know, I've played some of the really popular XBOX 360 games and they're great! Call of Duty 4, Left 4 Dead, and the new Prince of Persia (which isn't AS great as the older PoP's) were all very enjoyable to me. I want an XBOX 360 though. My only problem with Nintendo is that besides the new Smash game and the new Zelda installment, they really don't have anything NEW that's great. Like I said before, I play the heck out of these old games, and I play them all so much they get boring.

I actually think Super Paper Mario is better than PM1, though PM2 is the best. And I love LOVE PM1... SPM just gets *really* good later on especially if you talk to all the npcs often, keep up with the story and supplement it with the bartender tales, etc. and the ending is beautiful.
@jawharp1992 Cuz its a fun game? Yeah it wasnt the normal RPG formula like its predecessors, but the story, characters, music and gameplay is awesome in its own self.
@jawharp1992 Because not everyone likes RPG over platformer. SPM was very different in that it combined both aspects, and a certain population liked the gameplay over the previous RPG games.
The problem with SPM is that it was like the SCC of the franchise. It changed almost everything about the series in terms of combat especially, but I like that both games offer challenges although in their own way. I'm not sure which I like better, this or the sequel, but this is hands down my favorite TBS.
@TailsFan92 Super Paper Mario was an okay game, but my only main problem was that things were to hard to figure out, and everything was 2-D and in he N64 version, It was 3-D ish.

It's not a terrible game, it's just not as good compared to the first two. The gameplay is a lot easier, but the plot is definitely cool.

The problem with SPM is that it was like the SCC of the franchise.
