  • @TheTimeLordsReturn I built it in cinema 4d, my own design

  • wow im the latest person to comment

  • how much did the cinema4d cost?

  • This is a really interesting design. It fits in really well with the original BBC consoles, the Paul McGann design, and the Eccleston/Tennant one. The best thing is, I think, that it's distinctive while still using familiar elements.

Perhaps a what-if, had the series continued past 1989?

  • @therustedtimering This reminds me of....the Eccleston/Tennant one..but not with the junkyard style retrofit...what the 'coral' theme looks like before the fix up of the Doctors TARDIS.

  • great model!

  • Fantastic model!

  • It looks like a combination of the 1980's Tardis console merged with todays version , i really like the two scanner screens on either side , atleast it help not having to walk around the console much just to see whats on the screen even thou it can be turned around in the new series .

    Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ] .

  • i prefer the current consol but cool

  • better than the original

  • i agree i like this series console too, but i like tom bakers console as well.

  • Much better than the ghastly Nu-who version.

  • its bloody based on that design u pleb

so saying the new one is ghastly is basically saying u hate this as well. cos it may look different but it shares a similar design

  • Bullshit mongo, it's 'like' the new one, it's also 'like' the McGann version. They are ALL based on the original. That does not mean one should like all versions. The detailing on this version is much better and quite different to the new one, and is, in my opinion - better. And don't call me a pleb you cunt.

  • yeah, the current console looks like a giant Christmas light with junk stuck to it.

  • Only too true.

  • Nice how did u make this?

  • it was modelled and animated in cinema4d

  • can you mail it to me?

    noodleapricotpants at yahoo dot com

  • absoultely brilliant! i love it! i could see this as the masters tardis! that little bit more tidy n polished. spic and span for lack of a better word

  • I agree, either the master's, or the doctor's! (i think the titanic crashing through the wall calls or a little redecoration!)

  • or it could be used as a console for a time war movie, since it looks like a fusion of the t.v. movie and new series tardis consoles.

  • Very nice indeed.
