  • Wikipedia: In a 2008 interview with Goldmine, William Smokey (Joe) Robinson said: "There was a guy who lived in Detroit and had a group called The Diablos. His name was Nolan Strong. They were my favorite vocalists at that time."

  • Get the Diablos cd and treat yourself. Nolan Strong recorded some real killers.

  • This is not quite the original single version. Interesting to me because I still have the original 45. The differences are very slight - a few words here & there, a different guitar break. All the Fortune stuff used to be available on vinyl albums, and some on cd's. Not sure who has some.

  • Nice find, I'm groovin.

  • The recording is pretty bad but this is an Extremely rare cut. I have a copy but it is not in good shape. I'd love to find a CD with this one on it.

  • cooool as !@#$!!!!

  • They strolled out on the stage singing this song in boston at the Doowop hall of fame. What a treat. Hope to see them agian. One of my all time favorites.
