Ok. I have a problem. I tried this update service but it tells me my battery has to be 100%. my buttery right now is around 50% right now. but since my phone doesnt turn on i cant charge it.. it does get recognized by the UPDATE APPLICATION but the phone cant charge.. i left it connected to the charger the whole night, it doesnt charge. ( i think it has to be on in order to charge). HELP me plz
ok you will have to connect the charger and hold on the turn on button and let it run. \if it doesnt charge youll have to just put the battery into another sony ericsson phone (they all have the same battery)
that trick "holding the turn on button" didnt workl. Luckily i my friend had this same phone model. i m charging his cell 100% then ill borrow the battery and try update my phone again.. hope it works.. I will reply here if it worked or not =]
well this method didnt work even with full battery. it kept telling me to charge my phone so I just went to the debrand/unlock method (flashing) and it worked :D now my phone is back to normal.. ^^
Wat u eed o do is type in wat eva phone you have on google and type in update next to it...eg. W580i Update. Click on the sonyerricson llink and download the software. The steps fromthere are easy!!! mY PHONE IS AS GOOD AS NEW!!!
yea i've tried this, worked for one of my 2 z750's
i bought the phones that i still have bricked unlocked on ebay, and whenever i plug into update service they say its up to date...
the one that wasnt unlocked lets me do this to fix it....

@Rumman112 they dont all have the same battery, you obviously dont know alot about sony ericssons, cybershots have different batteries to walkmans.
