  • I gotta put that on my bucket list ...... Bad ass video... Took me back 20yrs in 2 seconds : )

  • someone was shinning a lazer on the gold car, thats an asshole right there

  • @spikonaleash

Can't see it in the video. You sure it wasn't his shift light?

  • @OneQuickFour Well depends on the color and where on the track he saw this "lazer", the firebird's shift light is yellow and most of them lasers are red. I didnt notice any laser either.

  • @OneQuickFour You can see light from a lazer pointer going all over the car and track at 0:58

  • What track is this and where is it located....if it's close enough i would love to come run my Jeep there

  • It's in Elko MN, about a half hour south of the Twin Cities.

    It's a hell of a good time.

  • Great race, that is the only thing that sux about muscle cars from back then, they were just good in a straight line, useless on turns they just go squirelly all over the track

  • Yeah but it doesnt take much to get the to handle. Since this video was taken, the black camaro has gotten better tires and already has a good suspension, and the firebird and since been re-tuned and runs on slicks, so they both handle like glue. A big part of the reason why they were squirely in this video is they both were running old tires in 30-40deg. weather.

but,it will be on a weekend thing, i will hope to see you all racing hard & me & my car will make it in at some point but, probably not til end of year but, who knows.. Good luck to you..

  • This "Outlaw" class will be great, and give some of the real daily drivers a real shot at winning once in a while, sorry sellnerkid, stop talking of taking people out,or rubbing them and such, your car is fast but bro, your a far cry away from being god's gift to racing, grow up bring your car out, beat fasig,Z28,galant & whoever is there,

then you can smile with glee, running your mouth dude isn't putting any fear in anyone out here so,don't write those checks i told you about kid, lets have fun o.k.

  • Oh by the way, sellner is lucky that harlen countryman hasnt come to spectator drags since the late 2007 season where sellner purposly spun him out because harlen's "little 4 banger" was kickin sellners ass, then harlen ended up beating him anyways. And to this day sellner has been unable to beat harlen's 92 laser. I doubt anyone in the area could beat him at raceway, fasig might give him a good run at elko but would definately have to work for it.

  • I've lost to Harlen a few times back in the day. That Laser was pretty fast.

2.3L stroker, 20G turbo, FMIC, and racing coilovers. Most likely around 380hp at the wheels.

Hope to see your Camaro out there runnin' laps next season.

  • He said 12.2's on motor @22psi, and that he was running 28psi at raceway. He also made mention about spraying it in one of the upcomming seasons. I look forward to running the galant when i have traction (you remember last april? lol) that will be interesting.

  • Hey fasig, this is justin with the maroon 95 z28. Cool racing that night with sellner. I even went to the finals against him once back in the 2005 season in my old 160hp beretta, when sellner beat me he was banging his hand on the roof like he has just conquered the world lol. He has hit and rubbed people on purpose, and i have proof. Fact is, he does not drive that car on the street, spectator drags is supposed to be street driven cars only.

  • It is all for fun... And what fun it is!

Don't take anything said here too seriously as the winter is a great time for smack talking and bench racing : )

This next season will be very cool to watch with this new class starting.

  • Dont worry about it... We need a little drama during the winter to keep things interesting.

Can't wait to see what you guys bring to the table next year

  • The first race you can tell the firebird is toying with the camaro to see what he has, the last two the firebird easily beats the camaro, just to prove that he can, then purposely goes high and lets the camaro win.

  • Why would he do this? If he won then Elko would force him to race Outlaws only. I challenge these two to race for titles, I guarantee the firebird would blow the doors off that camaro. Any car with modifications should be classified as Outlaw. All cars completely stock should be regular spectator drags. Call Elko Speedway (952)461-7223 and let them know. Lets keep racing fair for everyone!

  • Hey now, I have mods and I don't want to be roped into the "Outlaw" class. I drive my car 50+ miles each way to have some fun out there. My car is modded but I drive it every day (even in the winter)!

I think engine mods and some suspension mods like drop springs or coilovers are fine. I don't think they should allow crazy camber , racing control arms, or any other late model shennanigans. I also think Non-racing DOT tires should be manditory.

  • But it doesn't matter to me as Either way I'll be out there having some fun.

  • Hey, changine your camber or toe-in is all alingment adjustments, All my suspension is original stock parts. If you change your alingment adjustment to with in what the stock parts will allow then you still have a stock suspension. Honestly changing suspension pieces with aftermarket ones is when you change to a race suspension

  • Back-yard mods is a part of racing. Professional cutting, drilling, welding, racing tires, racing suspension, ect. is outlaws. Come on, would you really want to watch a bunch of cavaliers race against a bunch of escorts?
