Well Mythbusters did it. They were able to do it but with assistance. There has never been a reported case where someone was able to without amplification. Plus you have to factor in the right sound frequencies that match the resonate sound the glass makes when pinged my an object and amplify the same resonate pitch in order to do it. Sound alone spreads but when concentrated and amplified can do damage
