  • Spot on. Thanks for making this video, especially the part about the old fashionedness.

I have not cat to pet though, so Ill just have to hold onto my anger.

  • @htomerif No worries. :)

And I hear dogs are good substitutes.

  • WTF is up with all these damn moron ads? Oh! Did I forget an "O" in the word "mormon"? Oh well, it means the same thing either way. =p

Seriously though, the LDS must have paid google a SHIT load of money...

  • I was wondering what happened to Weird Al.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

  • Not only westerners are white im moroccan and white

  • Obviously what Amenakin did was simply expose the weakness of her argument while being a colossal hypocrite. You really nailed her case squarely. Good work as usual!

  • I just stumbled upon this video and I must say that you are amazing. You have just gained a subscriber.

  • What a load of left wing crap

  • Good video. Thats partly why many Muslims are so anti-west and anti-science, its a threat to their beliefs. If science and evolution is true, their whole identity as a Muslim is destroyed.

  • @Hamah1995 "you loser. even if she is here to make money, it truly has nothing to do with you. "

We do not exist in a vacuum. We have a responsibility towards others when it comes to how we comport ourselves in society.

By your logic, if a man wants to open up a "Child Molester Business" where they take children and allow molesters to pay money to fiddle them, it is no one else's business. He can do as he likes.

  • Comment removed

  • @Hamah1995 (shrug) Then your logic is flawed luv.

And my original statement stands according to it.

"If someone was fiddling children, you'd allow it as long as you didn't know the person or the children personally."

  • @Hamah1995 YouTube is a community site. The videos people post which are made public are for anyone to view and comment on. If TheTruePooka wishes to weigh in, he's allowed, regardless of the reason the others posted.

It may not have anything directly to do with TheTruePooka, but he is allowed to give his opinion on it. And you're free to give yours on his. But calling him a loser for doing so? Wouldn't that make you a loser to comment on TheTruePooka's video when it has nothing to do with you?

  • @csbair

    Ha Ha Ha Checkmate!

  • I think she's gotten over it all, and she took back her comments. She simply reacted out of a wounded ego. What she did was wrong.

Potholer was a true gentlemen, he made sure he reacted with measured restraint. And when Amenakin's channel was littered with bigoted posts by trolls, he came forward and spoke out against it. She even acknowledged how she was wrong.

Unfortunatly thunderf00t had to add more stupidity to this.

  • Your Blind! Thats what im saying! Lying P.I.G! Shut up and Go Tell someone else.

No regret Your going to be Punished By Allah (Swt)

  • We are all delusional, that's all I'm saying, to some degree.

  • Like she will even understand or hear you. This video is about your own ego I would hazard to guess as are my own. We all are delusional & go along clinging to existence taking most things useful for granted.

  • @uilium "This video is about your own ego I would hazard to guess as are my own."

You've just described 99 percent of the crap that goes on the internet. :D

  • @TheTruePooka Yeah, that's about right.

  • @uilium And seriously? you're wrong. I do a video like this because I see a wrong or injustice and I feel the need to speak out against it.

My ego only plays a role in the fact that I think people will actually listen to me. And very little at that. I am still rather amazed that thousands of people want to hear what I have to say on a regular basis. It is humbling.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheTruePooka I am sorry if I insulted you. Your videos are entertaining , I like conflict I guess. I'm just trying to say we as humans are ALL delusional and if you know this you might seek to do something about it. I'm saying you should spend more time worry about your own mind and if your opponent did the same as well as everyone else in the world including myself then that might be a beautiful way for the world to be :)

  • You are so right ..... this is all about Money, protecting her image and her (religious) market. She's no better than those Evangelical TV preachers.

  • potholer did nothing wrong thunderf00t made her an object and that is wrong in my book.

  • Wanna rant and rave dumbass ?

  • @vasp99 Ah - I see. Now the parade of idiots show up who are so pissed off because their hero has been busted and they can't think of a good response so they toss out ad hominem attacks.

Please, all of you feel free to continue tossing your pathetic little insults about. Show the world what you've learned from your God.

  • @TheTruePooka Amusing . You think that real people respect something like yourself ? Dreeeaaam on .

  • @vasp99 Actually, I know they do. This is interesting. I never got this much trolling with my other videos. Is it a Muslim thing? I didn't realize trolling was a part of the religion. hmm...

  • Unsuscribed.

  • @Unity4allhumans You were never subscribed in the fist place. And you're now blocked for being a lying troll.

  • @TheTruePooka hi thunderfoot

  • @start12poop Darwin was inherently racist this is a FACT.

  • What a bigot you turned out to be.

  • @Unity4allhumans Look up the definition of the word "bigot". You seem to not understand what it is. According to your definition, black people are bigots for denouncing the actions of the KKK.

  • Mug

  • Cont'd

God has put rules in the "punishment" of hitting his wife not just beat them or treat them unjustly... I agree with you a man that beats his wife or feels the need to practice this is not a man. I might accept Gods word but I will not accept for a man to beat me... I hope I stated this in a way where I have not insulted anyone nor misrepresent anyone's belief. God forgive me if I did offend anyone...

  • @ the true Pook, my response was to Munzer1977 about Gods command or word regarding a woman being inferior to a man and beaten. I was trying to state that I accept God's word as it is written, I understand that it can happen, In my marriage my husband and I do not practice this but accept it because that is Gods word. His word is not to be doubted or ignore. But to say that it happens or a man can interpret his way is wrong.

  • annoying punk

  • In order to answer your remark I need a whole page.. I don't go against God not what he has commanded. In the Quran he specifically states how a man should treat a woman and if there is punishment there are certain levels he takes hitting NOT beating is acceptable. I am equal but not in what society seems equal. I'm equal to man because just as he has obligations to his family a woman does too. Hopefully I explained it abbot better.

    Salam

  • @MrsBBchanel I'm not sure who this comment is aimed at but...

As a man, I see any male who strikes a woman he's in a relationship with to be a complete and utter failure as a man.

It is a sign of weakness. His weakness. It shows he lacks the strength a true man has when it comes to dealing with a partner/ child using the many, many other skills a real man has.

  • @MrsBBchanel

Hadith says it's a tap with a sawak tooth stick.

  • @AAAhmed46 Sahih Bukhari 7:72:715 reports that a women came to muhammed and she begged muhammed to stop her husband from beating her. Muhammad did NOT admonish her husband, but instead ordered her to return to him and submit to his sexual desires. "'Aisha said, "I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!" the beating was so hard the she got marks from her green veil.

    nice try

doesnt add up, but hey thats no surprise

  • @Serpico261

Not true. Yusuf estes and many other WAHABI literalist scholars say it's a tap with a tooth stick.

And what exactly does the WHOLE hadith say? I doubt it's what you imply. Otherwise, i would have seen this in a hundred other debates ive had. As for that quote from aisha...where is it?

And does it contridict the hadith that talks about it being a tap on the wrist? The guidelines presented in hadith, in multiple hadith say it's done with a tooth stick(sawak) which is a toothbrush.

  • @AAAhmed46 fascinatig how you magically ignored the hadith that i quote :-) thanks for the satisfying respond

read the hadith again from sahih bukahri Volume 7, Book 72, Number 715: and explain me as if im 6y ears old the great merciful and all time acceptable moral truth here. Explain it to me ina a way that i can comprehend, not the usual muslim nonsensical rationalization that strangely enough ONLY muslims seem to understand. Im open and listen and you have a chance to convince me

  • @Serpico261

Hadith is not addressing the topic of beating, more about the fact the dude can't get his cock up, which apparently he could. The hadith did not go further into whether or not Muhammed lectured him on proper procedure for the 'beating'. Her complaint was mixed with both beating and impotence, and the hadith is about impotence. Cannot use anything bigger than a siwak tooth stick(same size and weight as a toothbrush) countless hadith outline what is allowed and not allowed.

  • @Serpico261

That said, by modern standards is still certainly putting a woman in an inferior position, but I have discussed this with enough sheiks to know you can't really hurt or damage a woman.

But despite that fact, it still symbolizes a man having power over a woman....i am well aware of this.

But i have come to my own terms on how i view religiosu scripture, both islamic and unislamic. It was a gay priest who pointed this out to me, and helped me with this iew.

  • @Serpico261

I basically see it as men inspired by genuine spirituality and even transcent(to a degree) of their time/culture in their writings. But if god is eternal, and we are clearly not eternal, and language is not eternal, as it is a medium for finite beings, then god must reach out to us finite beings using a finite medium, being language. Through the mind of a finite man, being muhammed, chrsit, buhda, Rama(whoever he was) therefore, there is a timeless quality to their words/writings.

  • @Serpico261

...but despite a timless quality to the wriitngs, they are stil finite beings bound by a particular culture, time, place. The quran claims to be the word of god....but as i see it, it's the word of god through the mind and words of a man in the 7th century. THe same goes for hindu scripture which is filled with great wisdom, but has Rama showing shame at the very thought Sita was raped, and she must prove herself. It's a product of it's time, and it makes the ramayan no less lovely.

  • @Serpico261

Also, while the hadith 7:72:715 covers impotence, it also indicates and Abdur Rahman's wife has the ability to divorce him if she is unhappy. Also, Adbur Rahman in the urdu version of the hadith claims that he never hit her. And mohammed believed he did not hit her as she was lying about abdur rahmans impotence as well.

Now maybe Abdur Rahman was the one lying, and he did hit her. Maybe muhammed was wrong in his judgement, but he didn't think she was beaten.

  • @AAAhmed46 the issue is not only about imptotence, i mean you can read the hadiths and dont see the issue of wife beating here? im sorry but this is silly. Muhammed knew well that this women was beaten, she showed signs of beatings and she begged the prophet...and you are telling me that he iddnt knew it? i dont think so, but even consider that he was really that stupid not to believe, iots highly questionable that a supreme prophet is not even able to protect a women from her husban is laughabe

  • @AAAhmed46 part 2: its important to note that the quran as athe perfect word of god does not even specify the beating with a little stick shows that the quran is not perfect. its simply not. Any person with a decent intelligence will notice that the quran is not complete if it can not even specify such an improtant detail that IF a disobdient wife has to be beaten this punishment has to be taken place under some rules. The quran fails here to give clear and simple information. What about Aisha?

  • @Serpico261

After my many replies, and going off topic into how i view scripture(sorry about that)

Basically looking at the hadith, and then talking to my local imam about it. Thats why mohammed said nothing about the beating. He didn't believe it happened. And still told ehr she could divorce Abdur Rahman if she wanted.

  • @Serpico261

The perfect word of god...through the mind of a man born and raised in 7th century arabia, The perfect word of god.....addressing the insseus of 7th century arabia, limited by it.

Remember, if god is infinite, then he bevomes limited the moment he/she reaches out to finite beings, because he/she must use finite means.

That said, you may be right. But the term Daraba is ambigious., and i find it strange ulema from third world countries do not view it as allowing wife beating.

  • @start12poop Indian anthropologist Lalita Vidyarthi states:

His (Darwin’s) theory of the survival of the fittest was warmly welcomed by the social scientists of the day, and they believed mankind had achieved various levels of evolution culminating in the white man’s civilization. By the second half of the nineteenth century racism was accepted as fact by the vast majority of western scientists (Lalita Prasad Vidyarthi. Racism, Science and Pseudo-Science.Unesco,France,Vendôme,1983. s.54)

  • @start12poop Europeans widely believed that humans were all created equal by God and that all came from a common ancestor, the Prophet Adam.

However, things changed in the 19th century. As materialist doctrines flourished, people started to ignore the fact that human beings were created by God. This was also the birth of racism.

The allegedly scientific basis of racism was Darwin’s theory of evolution.

  • @start12poop

""so his views on race and slavery where 100 years ahead of the arabic/muslim world... lol"'

"May God curse the people who hesitate to dine with the slaves"

This is what the second Caliph Umar Ibn Khattab said about slaves.

Muslims were exhorted to eat the same food that their slaves eat and dress the very same type of clothes that they provided for slaves and to help them if they were to be given tough work and also to decide the terms and conditions to help them get freedom.

  • Islam Inc. LOL!

  • CONTD

".The break between man and his nearest allies will then be wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilised state, as we may hope, even than the Caucasian, and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as now between the negro or Australian and the gorilla."

As this statement explicitly reveals, Darwin was an out-and-out racist believing in the superiority of the white man. He believed the white man would, in time, first enslave and then eradicate the so-called inferior races.

  • @start12poop

Darwin went one step further and even suggested that these races would finally be totally annihilated:

""At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace the savage races throughout the world. At the same time the anthropomorphous apes… will no doubt be exterminated. The break between man and his nearest allies will then be wider,CONTD

  • @start12poop

In 1871, Darwin published a book, The Descent of Man, in which he claimed that man evolved from some ape-like creature. He asserted that some races were more evolved and, therefore more advanced than others, whilst other races, on the other hand, he considered still to be at the same level as the apes.

According to Darwin, the favoured race was the ‘European white man’. Asian or African races were, quite simply, failing in the struggle for survival.

  • @start12poop

Biology does not include a lesson in Evolution always.

Most points of the Theory of Evolution aren't scientific at all and in fact have been disproven by science.

  • @start12poop

The book that amenakin referred "Evolution deceit" shows that many policies of Hitler and Stalin was based upon the theory of Evolution .

Hitler believed that white races are more evolved than black ones.

This was the shape of theory of evolution in the first part of last century.

  • LOL, people who are really in business should stay away from topics that they know nothing about. Stick to what they know - namely (in this case) veils and makeup. Good take on the matter :D

  • You sort of look like thunderf00t :)

  • Great video on this rather annoying topic.

  • This is an excellent video; I find myself totally agreeing.

On a completely unrelated note: Pooka, you have gorgeous teeth. O.o

  • "on her way to the prom"? In THAT dress? SMROFL

  • I'm still trying to figure out if you used the term 'Bubbie' in a calculated manner to produce irrational anger in a bigot or not.

  • Salam I apologize I misunderstood your video. I would like to ask that Islam not be used generalizing. There are many Muslim that practice there beliefs differently. I guess when others generalize it kind of strikes a cord. I wasn't trying to focuse on thecdarling apologize for that also. I do agree with the video of scientifically not being accurate on her part. But it seems some people took it to the extreme. I should have thought of my comment before publishing. Salam

  • @MrsBBchanel No worries. And this is the internet.

Where people of all walks of life come to anonymously let the ugliness in their souls spill out.

You just have to develop a thick skin. :)

  • @MrsBBchanel

The theory of Evolution changes its shape frequently.

White races are superior than black races was one of the beliefe in early part of last century and blacks were considered as less evolved.

To make evolution go faster and to support the evolution of German races Hitler Killed all retards and created homes for beautiful women to be used for adultery by German soldiers so as to give rise to more evolved German babies !

Amenakin read that part of Evolution theory !

  • Salam, I really do hope you get guidance. I'm a Westerner and a Muslim, I don't get beat nor treated unequally. You might to take the time to read the Quara and talk to an actual Muslim woman ( Westerner) if you prefer to see how she is treat. And by the way her saying darling is just how people fro London talk... salam

  • @MrsBBchanel I have read the Quaran. And I'm quite aware of how Muslim women are treated. Not sure why you focused on the "darling" thing. My issue was what appeared to be use of racism to further your own profit. A behavior that is not exclusive to Muslims.

I would have a problem with anyone who does that, regardless of background. It is unacceptable behavior, intended or not.

  • @MrsBBchanel

It is really fascinating that how you Muslims have the balls to come to the video criticizing Islam or Muslims or just a single Muslim and say that you have to read Quran , lol

Quran is the bigggest hate crime against entire Humanity , If it not a religious book , it would have been banned in western society and the only miracle about quran is people actually believe that it is written by God.

  • @MrsBBchanel = I don't get beat nor treated unequally=

Why not? That is what the book says. Is GOD wrong?

Don't get me wrong. I think it is perfectly sensible to dismiss archaic parts of ancient religious texts, but it is the word of GOD. How can it possibly be wrong? It is quite clear.

Women are inferior. The word of a woman is worth half that of a man, and she should be beaten (after a fair warning) for daring to disagree with her man (to what degree a man wants to interpret that is up to he

  • I know why you dont want comments on your videos. Then, you can simply lie and earn huge profits from innocent people, and further your racist opinions unchallenged.

  • I have been through lot of videos of the contraversy. When I first saw her rebuttal by pot holer, I just thought was a brain washed dumb lady believing all the white non sense in her videos. It now turns out from her discussion with Potholer54, she is an educated woman. She claims she believes in natural selection too! Then why post "white" evolution videos and malign Darwin? Who is the real racist Amenaken? You or Darwin?

  • @shandcunt I seem to have that effect on all the wrong people. :(

  • We westerners are all fucking heretical, god hating, child eating, incestuousness scum....until it comes time to help some back water Muslim country over throw their repugnant dictators that have ruled over them for decades....Then all of a sudden we aren't so bad....I guess a F-15 is a little more effective than, I dunno, say Allah.

  • @peyo001 You talking about Gaddafi? A man who propped his country to being the richest in Africa, and who ousted Libya of those terrorists that were later being helped by "god hating, child eating, lying" NATO "peace" bombs who enjoyed bombing TV stations and then broadcasting pictures of a fake square...

    Allahu akbar, God is greater.

  • @faro0485 No, Gaddafi didn't throw himself out of Libya. He's been slaughtering civilians for decades.

  • @evensgrey Ah well... so too are the NATO backed alqaeda in Libya.

  • @faro0485 And you claim that the people of Libya are murdering each other because..?

  • Are you crazy? Do you really believe this woman gives a damn about anything you're saying here... corporate morality?..wtf.

This feels like lunatic sexual aggression to me...

  • This is one of those "hitting the nail on the head" videos. Well said TP

  • I'm a westerner and I'm only a third white. HEYAH HEYA YAAAAAAA

  • twat

  • True Pooka, you are golden in my book, and indeed, in my whole library.

  • You have some good insight .

  • Good work, Pooka :)

  • Thanks for the video, Pooka. This DMCA crap is getting out of hand.

I have a question for you about DMCA: if you could change it (for the better) how would you go about implementing those changes and what changes would you make to it? So the DMCA false flagging would be at least, cut down. Your insight would be interesting as this has been wrapping around my head ever since Potholer got the false DMCA against him.

Thanks if you reply, if not, thanks anyway and keep up the good work :-).

  • Attention to all. faro0485 is a troll who is going round all the videos on this subject and posting his bullshit.

  • @krissyeh Oh let me guess, I'm the troll under the bridge, and you're just walking over like good little goats?

No rather, these videos have "muslim" in them, a term I search for on youtube for new matters. But bloody hell, spamming half a dozen videos, and constantly replying to me. I'll never get through my emails at this rate.

  • @faro0485 - uh...yes, you are a troll and an obtuse troll at that.

Your claims are all unfounded just like the claim that "cold fusion is proven technology" you made earlier on a different video.

Folks will soon catch on to your stupidity and who knows, maybe you too will have videos made in your honor.

  • @TalladegaTom Say what about Cold Fusion?

  • @faro0485 - Your specific quote. "On top of that... Cold Fusion is a proven technology."

Apparently, you forget the mass amount of nonsense that you write including that little gem of info.

Folks can view the comment thread below and can judge for themselves if they wish.

    /watch?v=SlwQL2Lm4Ns

  • @TalladegaTom

The guy is also an uneducated idiot for he can't understand plain English and placing a question mark after a statement proves it as well, "and you're just walking over like good little goats?".

    Cheers.

  • @krissyeh - In full agreement.

Some folks just refuse to use their brains.

    Delusion is a powerful thing.

  • @TalladegaTom And it's not, why?

  • Well said, TP! A voice of common sense!

  • I really wish racism would die out. I cant help but notice though, that its more common for Muslims to pull out the race card these days. I dont want to say that all Muslims do it, but the last dozen cases of this that I've heard of, have been from Muslims. I'm talking about a person accusing another person or company of being racist.

Our problem with racism isnt entirely gone, but certain Muslims still seem to think that its the 1950's.

I hope that doesnt make me sound like im the bigot.

  • @chadd990 Bigotry is discrimination against those who believe in another belief.

  • @faro0485

    Well, kind of.

  • She blocked me after I made one little harmless comment saying that I hoped that what people were saying about her was not true. She also removed the comment. I think maybe she is one of those people Richard Dawkins talks about who put their fingers in their ears and say la la la.

  • @a11m0n Ya she blocked me too. lol. Here I thought youtube was a public arena. Thumbs up to truepooka! Excellent video!

  • @sh00008 She blocked me after I was rather HARSH about her idol Adnan Oktar's prostitution and blackmail operations and asked if she felt inspired to go work for him.

You praise and claim devotion to a common criminal (actually, he's a fairly uncommon criminal, as he's got lots of money and managed to get convicted in the not-exactly-well-respected courts of Turkey) and you're going to get asked certain sorts of questions.

  • @evensgrey Ya she is totally deluded, or pretending to be. I don't know what her background is, but filing false dmca and censoring opposing views will not help her youtube channel. She chose to be in the public arena and if she can take the heat, it's better to leave. I just wish religious you tubers had more of a backbone to actually stand up to their far fetched religious beliefs. The reason they don't have the backbone is precisely because of the absurdity of their held beliefs.

  • @sh00008 I pointed out in another comment to a video about this issue, if she keeps it up, she could find herself on the receiving end of an extradition request, which would likely be honored. (Her channel page says she's in the UK, which would probably honor an extradition request from the US for multiple felonies. If somebody in the Justice Department starts looking for something easy to boost his/her career, she's a good target: International felony prosecution looks good on the resume.)

  • @FaMingZhe No they should instead note this and the Dale Farm human rights abuses committed by the Basildon Council. And then they should accept the laws of Muhammad as King John asked ( /watch?v=HGrbJ4_jcc8 ), and learn the Quran, and let it fill their sub conciousness and keep reciting it in salat. Over time they will be for justice and not abusing people's human rights and violate the first stage of genocide.

  • @FaMingZhe You should fuck off. She's absolutely wrong in this situation. Retard. ;-)

  • @FaMingZhe When the hell did he say anything like that?!?

  • How is this women's silly blabberish even an issue? She deserves no attention whatsoever.

  • @grebrim That's what I was saying when I said "oh these atheists are only looking at her because they're perverts".

  • @faro0485 I don't know what perversion that would be - ignoraphilia?

To call her out on her medieval views was actually a nice thing to do - only utterly futile.

  • @grebrim No... it's what Skepchick noted, as well as others. Then again maybe I'm violating Quran 49:12 and should ask you to perhaps forget that point.

  • @faro0485 Sure. As long as you don't apply Surah 9:5...

  • @grebrim We don't reject any of the Quran. So we don't reject Quran 9:5

  • @faro0485 So you think that you have to kill the infidels/polytheists?

  • @faro0485

Surah: 9:5 Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

In context though, it's not quite so bad. It's specifically those idolaters who don't have a treaty with Islam.... does anyone here, or their country, have a treaty, out of interest?

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk Do you worship things you create?

Also, don't forget... that when the muslims recite a sura, they don't recite one verse. They start from number 1, and onwards.

  • @faro0485

Depends who you ask. I have heard many muslim's call all people involved in western materialism Idolaters, worshiping money, or the acquisition of objects.

I did actually look up the verse, and read the rest of the surah. The rest of it really dosn't help out your position. I mean,

Surah 9:1 Freedom from obligation (is proclaimed) from Allah and His messenger toward those of the idolaters with whom ye made a treaty.

No freedom of religion without a treaty

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk //I have heard many muslim's call all people involved in western materialism Idolaters, worshiping money, or the acquisition of objects.//

I find that highly ironic. Seeing as how most muslims worship and praise a rock in mecca.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk "I have heard many muslim's call..." sorry what? Is it me or are you using skeptics annotated?

Interesting, maybe I'll refer to Adnan Okhtar for evolutionism, with notes by a evangelical creationist. Doesn't that sound reasonable? No? Then what are you doing?

Here's a tip, the Skeptics Annotated website is junk. Woah, I didn't know they linked to that Anders Breivik fan website known as "Jihad Watch".

  • @faro0485

I'am indeed using the Skeptics Annotated as my copy Paste location. I'm reading a translation called the Mysterious Koran I got from some muslim preachers on the street for free. I actually leant it out to a friend right now, so I apologise for not being able to give chapter and verse. I will cease to use them as my source, and instead, I shall quote from 'Quran(dot)Com' if that satisfies you, I don't see any meaningful difference in the translation. cont...

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk

    ...

Surah 9. Verse 5: And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

And Verse 1:[This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists. cont

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk

Indeed, something I noticed reading the wider context of the Surah is:

9:12 And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease.

Defame your religion. To damage the reputation of Islam seems by this reading to be a cause for war.

Like in most religions, most muslims are a lot nicer than their holy book. good thing too.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk Well I don't think anyone can take legal precidings from a translation... But yes, defamtion of religion, an attack of contract, is of course a cause for war.

  • @faro0485

And I'm done. Defamation is never a cause for violence. Especially given what some people consider defamation (case in point, this current issue. Potholer45 had been accused of insulting Islam. Cause for war?). The fact that you say that speech, of any kind, justifies 'kill the polytheists wherever you find them'. Shows how the most, when I said most muslims are nicer than their holy book, doesn't include you. I have one final response to you, but I'm done talking to a prick.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk ...

Why God, why do I have to put myself around people who are dense in the head and can't even read English.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk I don't find any issue with Quran 9:5 or 9:1. Though the proper term is "ayah" not verse, or you could say "sign".

  • @faro0485

Not worried about Quibling over verse or sign, whichever you prefer.

However, you see no issue with killing people of a different faith just because there is no longer a specific peace treaty? And only giving them protection (ayah 6) so they can convert. If they don't convert, it's fine to stay at war with them?

Bah. Tosh the lot of it. I enjoy debating scripture, but either demonstrate how the above is not a viable reading or move on to a different issue.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk "Mysterious Koran" ? "Mysterious"? An odd term. Let me refer you to Quran4u tafsir ibn Kathir. And you may wish to refer to the Treaty of Hudaiybia. No my issue against you using Skeptics Annotated anything, is because the thinking that we there is warped. It's the kinda of thinking where a person thinks "let's see how we can prove this wrong". And the same thinking used by them, is the same thinking used by terrorists who say "let's see how we can bend this".

  • @faro0485

They had quite a few, Mysterious, Sacred, Holy, that sort of thing. They also had books on the Miracles in the Quran (which were hilarious).

I used Skeptics Annotated because when you google from google.co.uk, it's the first hit with just the verse right there. I didn't want to copy it out from the book because I mistype quite frequently.

    Next time I'll use Quran(dot)com.

And I usually think 'how can I prove this wrong, it's how science works. Test your own theory to destruction.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk We'll... please do note that it's from the Quran we got the scientific method.

No... searching for the truth is what real science is. The philosophy of proving things wrong, that's death cult philosophy. /watch?v=lTcQWCtEZmY

  • @faro0485

LOL. The Idea of empirical evidence and inquiry is much older and much more widely spread than originating the Quran. The Quran is a book of faith. Science is no more based in the Quran, though many early scientist's were muslims, than it is based on the bible because many other early scientist's were Christian, or the greek gods, though many were hellenistic.

To test a theory, you must try and falsify it, that is, prove it wrong. Unfalsifyable claims are either axiomatic or useless

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk ... should you or do I go and re-introduce Aristotle to wikipedia article on "Scientific method"?

No... test of a theory is not that you must try and falsify it, but you must provide a "falsification test" for others to examine the conclusion you provide.

Let me make it more easier for you, God introduces religion, science flourishes. Irreligious elements introduce themselves, appropriate the fields, science and technology diminishes because they hoard knowledge.

  • @faro0485

What Tosh. Science developed out of the thoughts and philosophy of many different peoples and cultures, but was rooted in empirical enquiry, something widespread long before the Quran was written.

Science is rooted in proving things wrong. Falsifying claims, testing things to see if they are correct, all these are attempts to prove things wrong, through empirical enquiry and evidence.

Something distinctly lacking from the Quran, a book of faith.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk You don't believe me? Well, let's have it this way. If you can prove that there was no possible religious origin preluding the development of science, then you'd prove religion having no influence of creating science. Let me present the point that it was the Jews who migrated to ancient Greece after the Babylonian exile who helped Greece rise. And it was the Quran that brought about the rise of this last 1000+ years of science.

  • @faro0485 Oh and concerning Muslim's calling me an Idolater, it was in response to your claim that I wasn't a polytheist (correct) and as such, wouldn't be a victim even if the surah did say kill the idol worshipers. Or at least, that was the interpretation I took from your question. What otherwise would your intent?

Unless of course, you were attempting to divert yet more attention away from the issue at hand, and towards a religious debate.

I'm for freedom of speech and of conscience. cont.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk

The real key here is not religion, as can be seen from the past events in this YT community, it matter not the religion, or lack there of, we reject people false flagging and abusing the DMCA system. Your claims of anti Muslim bigotry, even if correct, wouldn't change the fact that Amenakin made an incorrect, factually wrong, anti-science statement, blocked people trying to correct her, then when someone made a video about her, tried to censor it.

    And we don't like that.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk The intent is to kill them. What do you expect us to do otherwise? Give them sweeties? No. Killing is killing. The issue at had is that someone who has no clue about matters that are more complex than legal lease, has no say in skipping verses.

I don't know if you're for honesty, you may wish to refer to clause 8.2 of the youtube terms of service.

  • @grebrim Well, it's Potholer's annual Golden Crocoduck Awards, you see. Most likely, somebody nominated her after Claire gave her a Dim Bulb of the Week, and then she went a bit stupid(er).

She's only got 2 or 3 videos about biology, almost everything is flogging her cosmetics or hijab line sold from her website. Those 2 or 3 videos, are absolutely WONDERFUL to ridicule, since her 'source' is a guy who published a book of copyright violations including fishing lures mistaken for an animals.

  • @evensgrey I know- the hilarious Harun Yahya.

  • Fuck all these people who are accusing Potholer of denigrating women. These people are the real fucking sexist jack ass'. Treating women like pretty little flowers who cant take criticism because they are women IS SEXIST. It implies women are inferior because they cant fight there own fights. I say fuck all that business. These women who hide behind there femininity to avoid criticism are only hurting the fight for women's rights!

  • Out fucking standing!

  • Why am I not subscribed to you?? Fixing that now...

  • @FaMingZhe dude your are really really dumb....actually watch a video before commenting.

  • @FaMingZhe /watch?v=qT81ILqRzRY

  • @RevJdubs wtf. you cant command other ppl that way. if you dont want to get a respond, dont comment in the first place or at least dont respond any further.

  • Mr. True: Please pronounce the word "women" like "wimen". There's a difference between single & plural of the female.

  • In my opinion, if you make money off of bigoted and racist rhetoric, you own it. I don't care what you believe.

  • rofl watch the video dumbass.
