Coming back from Whitby on a Sunday night, in the back of the car listening to Top of the Pops, as the time moved towards 7pm, what was No 1 - it was this, what a revelation to a 10 year old, after weeks of Mungo Jerry "in the summertime". Might have my chronology a bit wrong here, but what a song.

In those days (pre history) most of us bought LPs with cover versions on, we dreamed of "Now Thats what I call Music 1".

This song influenced my teens, Marc was so cool, RIP.
