The Ansgar team got gangraped by the UK bots. Why have 2 bots of the same nationality in the same battle? You know right off the bat that the third bot is gonna get double-teamed. And Tornado should have won, but I have to admit, Storm 2 did put on a great performance.

this is very weird . how come in the 2nd world championships the USA had 4 robots but in the 3rd world championships, they only had 1. But the UK had 3 or 4 robots. thats not right. If there was a world championships 4. I would want Panzer Mk4,destructive critiscism,probaphobia,and Manta to represent the USA.

JP made quite a few mistakes here- saying storm II had interchangeable weapons (storm I did but not storm II), than tornado beat razer to win the SEVENTH wars.... probably his old age lol

not that it matters but why did JP say that Storm 2 were number 16 seed? as true as that is, they're seed 16 for the uk championship, not the world championship

@Bowsersshell i'm not completely sure why but i'm quite sure the number of viewers decreasing in series 7 had something to do with it, when Robot Wars switched to Channel 5 i don't think it was on at a regular time or whatever which didn't help. i think financial issues was a problem as well but you'd probably have to talk to someone who knows a bit more about it

Tornado put up more of a fight against Storm 2 here than in their battle in the grand final, a nice battle. I liked how they ganged up on getting rid of Ansgar so they could fight without being bothered.

Storm II has custom made wheels, I'm sure the info is online somewhere. But Tornado has bigger, wider tyres - more grip (on wood)

Tornado qualified for the World Championship by winning the European Championship?! Fucking hell! I knew there was something bad about Razer handing their victory over to them. Don't get me wrong, I will give Tornado credit for not using that pussy frame of theirs in this battle. But nevertheless, they qualified for this tournament by winning a trophy on perhaps the rarest luck in Robot Wars.

One thing I dont understand about this is why Storm 2 are seeded number 16 when they came SECOND in series 7! Shouldn't they be number 2 seeds?!?!

This isn't the UK wars. If there was an 8th War, THEN Storm 2 would be seeded number two. But this is the World Championship, and Storm 2 was lucky to even get seeded considering they were never in either of the previous World Championships. It's such a fucking shame Razer wasn't there for this tournament.
