Hello, I've used some of the footage from this video in a remix I've made for the first stage song. Which is pretty much the song for the whole game. I hope you don't mind.
For 1986, it IS a decent enough shooter. I don't really like the music but the gameplay mechanics aren't bad. You're entitled to your own opinion, but don't say I'm lying if I call it a decent enough shooter. Respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.
Agreed. I played this back in the day. The music - though repetitive - was still pretty exciting for an 80's shooter. Though I prefer the 194x games by Capcom, this one holds a special place in my heart since it was the one game I was good at.
Good for you. Get MAME32 or MAMEUI version 120 or so, and record your own movie. I'm not nearly good enough to get through the whole game without cheats. I suppose if you wanted a video of the game played through WITH cheats I could accommodate.
If I were to pick my favorite Taito game it would be a toss-up between Bubble Bobble, Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move and Space Invaders '95. But Tokio was pretty good for its time.
I like your Time Gal videos. I used to have the Sega CD version and I loved it!
the theme music sounds like the song heard in the first stage of super spy hunter for nes.

@falktrue Very nice! Good techno mix, I can see people dancing to this at a nightclub.
Sure, you don't have to ask permission to use my videos. I'm flattered people would want to use them for anything!
Good work!

I was hoping that this game would be on either volume of Taito Legends for the PS2.
