Anyone who calls Jack Lambert a cheap shot artist must be very young. Football was a much more violent game in the seventies...a different brand of football was played back then.
Jack played the game the way it was supossed to be played, no nonsense, hard hitting, intense, and by the rules. He didn't take any shit from anyone, and was respected for his style of play whether the opposing teams played liked him or not. Count Dracula in cleats, Jack is the Man, one of the greatest linebackers to ever play the game, Here We Go Steelers!!
Cheapshot artist? Jeez, you have got to be kidding me. People who say that are usually the guys that never played a down of football in their lives. I've played pop warner, high school, college at the University of Arizona and Arena football for 5 years, and I have to say, you either play the game with some balls, or you can go sit your scared candy ass on the couch and criticize something you could never do. Jack Lambert played the game the way it was supposed to be played. GO STEELERS!
okay here we go again......cheapshot artist.......lets see your site has alot of music but no football.....ravens.....bears.....gotta be a rival .....1976 jack was at full tilt, you were 11 yrs. old. so either you got a photographic memory or you watch alot of nfl films or videos. the definition of a cheapshot artist is....chuck tatum. ask the stingley family...either way when you come on a jack site be careful some of us in our 60's actually watched jack play all his games and know him.........
i read that on steelers4life site...very cool...credos to the mrs. for doing it. check out Violator79. probably one of the best for showing who jack was even after football..........
Simply put, the most aggresive player ever. My son's middle name is Lambert, on his birth certificate. This was a hard sale to my wife, but thats how much I love this crazy bastard. Here we go Steelers.
Next to Terry Bradshaw (my favorite QB ever), Jack is my favorite hero in football. Of course I'm from the new generation of Steeler Nation, but Jack Lambert is my hero of the past, while Troy Polamalu is my favorite player today.
hey d3h0ff exactly what facts ??!!! go on my site look at my favorites list, pick anyone out you like. now tell me WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??!!! 16 years old!!!!!!!
pretty good??!!! every team in the league hated jack cause of the way he played.............and they all wished that he played on their team!!!!................
i'd type more but i'm laughing so fucking hard my eyes are watering.........you go to bed tonight 'realdeal' and keep dreaming about shockey...........................
this is one of the BEST videos about jack thats out there. towards the end when he's talking to the kids in the football camp and you see him in tee-shirt and shorts that picture of him should put to rest any BULLSHIT stories of him being on steroids. to think that guy standing there telling these kids you gotta have passion , was the guy under the pads numbered 58. again i commend you GodPirate, great video!!

If I had the ball and that # 58 was coming after me I figure that I'd just chunk the ball and go running for cover. Seriously this is a great video.
