@DXFan1269 IMO, Bert was the asshole, even before the disease, all he did was cause trouble. He shot at the hermit, causing him to steal the car later, and for them to set him on fire and what have you not. Though his intentions were good, it's also his fault that the store owner goes after them. Jeff was a douche, but as you said I would have run away. Jeff should have just walked back to a city, or hitchhiked.
@TheEvilViolin My theory is that it was originally meant to be the ending but as moparmonster1965 said it would have been too much like Night of the Living Dead. I personally thought he deserved it. He became an asshole.
Is it possible that you could please upload the full movie in parts. You would expect it to be here but all you can find are clips. Don't worry about people taking it down they don't seem to pay TOO MUCH attention to that stuff now. Thank you!
