you need to tho it away its rotted this is how to tan a hide were the hair want come off .first you clean the meat and fat off and after that you salt it dont leave it on the ground.. what i use is krowanna2000 . you put it in a bucket with water and salt for 4 day and then it done and tanned it that easy
It's great to have respect for the animal and use everything from it. I think it would be impossible to not using animals in one or another way. We use leather for our shoes, bags, sadels for horses, ropes. and so on. And even if it's sad we have to kill animals, we can treat it with respect and be kind to them when it's alive.
I liked the tipi when I could put my hides on the ground and sit on them. But the rain comes in and would ruin them down there, anyway!
