But regardless, she was eventually defeated by the Romans, and ended up committing suicide. The Iceni rebellion only lasted for a very short time, and when the Legions left a few hundred years later the British considered themselves "Roman" for quite a while afterwards. So it's sad to say but there wasn't much of a lasting legacy to her rebellion.

They killed her army but never got to Budica herself. instead she poisoned herself after the battle because she couldn't bear the shame of being defeated by the men that raped her daughters.

The 80's fantasy-adventure epics were awesome (Conan, Red Sonja, Beastmaster, Sheena, etc...). I actually liked all the TV shows they spawned and shows like Xena and Hercules. They should have stuck with TV because those shows were a lot of fun and big screen remakes usually squeeze the fun out of them. Red Sonja the TV show with a newcomer in the role, that would have been better. We've all seen Rose McGowan body, its not up to the genre's standard.
