Such a grand defensive player under Mike Stoops and I enjoyed watching his efforts under a strong cast of superb players. It was a little easy for his name to get shadowed by Roy Williams... Derrick Strait... Rocky Calmus & T. Marshall. But make no mistake. Brandon Everage was one of the best defensive players to ever play under Bob Stoops. It was a treat to have watched him play. I seen some punishing hits delivered by Everage and enough times to make Owen Field go "ohhhhh!". RIP Book.
