  • How do you hit over 9999? o_o

  • @FinalFantasyXPro

Normal attacks don't go over 9999 but some of the skills like Numerology, Balance, Quickenings etc. can go over.

  • @FF12GM Oh, because my characters only hit 9999 and in your version you hit a lot more than that, I'm guessing its the version you have. :3

  • Nice work, GM, but this doesn't prove that you didn't Save/reload to max the damage like stated on the GameFAQs board. Guess we'll have to trust ya, heh.

  • FF12GM yoou might like this game called Final Fantasy 12. Give it a try!

  • Show me on vid how to start my cure list using rng,i already have the spreadsheet..what next.. thanks

  • i really wanna know how long did that take to you :D

  • @Makertraper Many hours

  • @FF12GM where can i get this version and are you able to read japan or what it is (sry for my bad english hope you understand me xD)

  • @musikmp3man I got my copies from Ebay

  • @FF12GM How many?

  • great to know you still exploit the game. as soon as i get my laptop ill test it. gl on future projects

  • wow Awesome Job

Numerlogy is the most useless Tech in the game though, total crap IMO

  • @xAshe10x It's a fun tech that's really meant to be used against low level critters, not against uber-bosses simply because the chances of success at the higher levels is minimal. Besides, it's not the worst Tech in the game....that honour goes to to First Aid which is about as much use as mudflaps on a tortoise.

  • I think I used First Aid during my first playthrough... But I don't remember ever finding a good time to use Achilles.

  • @MoogleBoss I have used Achilles but it would have been so much better if they had not made it useless against the safety augment. Making foes like Yiazmat, Omega, Zodiark, Trickster etc. susceptible to Achilles would have been fun especially if they were able to 'Shift' back again and cancel out a weakness that Achilles had already created. So many good ideas with hindsight, eh?

  • @FF12GM

True... In FF6, you had a tool called Debilitator which could repeatedly penetrate the target's weakness to an extra element, it worked on everybody with 100% accuracy. There was a way of doing the same thing in FF9, but I'm not sure of the details because I always killed every boss in two turns with physical attacks anyway.

I don't see a reason why Achilles immunity is up there with fractional damage and instant death and what have you, it's not nearly as cheap.

  • @MoogleBoss My thoughts exactly. There is no reason why Achilles should be affected by the Safety augment. It's not as though it causes any great reduction in HP, plus, if a foe can use Shift, it could wipe out any weaknesses inflicted by Achilles if it were to shift to any specific weakness. In IZJS they removed the Safety factor from the Break Techs so why not from Achilles? They really need to remake this game and correct a lot of the "errors" that were in the original version.

  • @FF12GM

Too true, restricted playthrough gamers revealed way too many errors in the game with the hours they put into it, and the game is visibly more inconsistent with what it permits and what it does not compared to when none of the errors were known. I guess no game is perfect, and FF12 was a brave attempt at doing something new in the series, which explains those errors.

  • 2-3% chance of having it hit twice for max damage? Must've taken a long time to get them to connect.

  • @MoogleBoss Like the comment in the video said.....You really don't wanna know how long this took me :o)

  • It would have been really cool if bosses and hunts was not immune to this one.

  • Oh my.

  • O.o

You and your crazy awesomeness. XD

  • Almost as crazy as your 99 Zodiac Spears ^_^

  • :o Oh my!

  • Awesome, isn't it, Jacob? :o)

  • @FF12GM Yeah. I mean for FFXII's damage range that's insane, even higher than an advantaged Seitengrate no?

  • Yes. In my strongmode file I had characters in the 90's and Seitengrate with Fiery arrows against an oiled Slyt only did 156k damage. At the levels I am now in this Technicks challenge I could only get 4-5k at best with Seitengrate and that's with a critical hit.
