this isn't a "rip-off"you retarded fucks. all metal riffs are more or less derived from earlier riffs. if you want to write a song without "ripping off" anybody then put some guy in a room for his entire life where he can't hear any music, and then have him write a song.

I find it funny that there are so many "x steals y's riff" vids here. As if it's a rare thing to find. How many rock songs do you think have been written in Emin with some combination of E5, G5, A5 and D5? I mean .. c'mon. Believe it or not, metal is not the most original of genres. I would say for every song you can probably find quite a few soundalikes.. and many would be completely unintentional.

This isn't a rip off, Iron Maiden didn't invent the progression and the notes are different. It's an easy melody and not a rip off.

you know whats funny, in my earliest days of producing beats, (when I first started making beats), I actually made this same exact melody on piano. the poppa roach song hadn't even come out yet, and i never listened to metal or knew who iron maiden was. this is the simplest melody that so many starting producers play with because its so obvious when you are learning piano. and it sounds so good. just saying.
