Looked like good times in the shop. Nice 240 besides the smoke. lol

That run was at 32PSI! The high boost, poor gas and lots of timing caused super high temperatures, which melted a couple pistons! The combustion pressure when past the pistons, and pushed oil out the valve covers, causing it to burn and smoke on the head and exhaust manifold.

@nissan240driver 16.2 in the 1/4. and that was stock.(3 years ago stock.) i'd like to see you beat an 11 second quad 4.( i know a few.) Nissan cant touch it. they cant even touch the record that was set over 20 years ago. neither can Mercedes or BMW. Nissan's are daily commuters, and not meant for the strip. the only ones that are true high performance monsters are the R34 Skyline and the R35. this was an experiment done to teach folks like you that boost isn't always the answer.

Funny thing about the boost, Got my boost controller and meth hooked up again, peak boost recorded was 2.29 bar(atmospheres), which is like 33.66 psi, woohoo! new engine feels pretty good (.50" stock block, Tomei Headgear; solid pivots and bigger cam) thinking about a smaller turbo for response next round of spending; already got bigger cams in it ; )

Hmm... It hurts me to see someone do this to a nice japanese car, even in this circumstance with then engine in poor condition. But meh... if your rebuilding it, who cares. Car looks real nice. What rims are on that? Be sure to post some videos up when the cars done.

My car, rims are sportmax or as XMcEvilson said gaymax LOL. 17 by 9's cheap and wide.

It's okay though only the rings in #1 and 2 cyl went, excessive blowby caused oil to form around my spark plugs causing the misfiring. On this run it went to 32psi on boost, 2bar pretty wicked for a stock block with a gt3071 turbo. This car is gonna end up being my track slut, I'm working on a Sil80 for a sick summer ride! I'll let Jak kno McEvildson can keep talkin BS while driving his mom's minivan.
