my dad has this game called gravity I think. Anyways there are these two rods that you can pull apart or put back closer together and they are at a slant. You put a ball bearing on the bottom of the slope and try to make it roll upwards with out touching it. I assume the same effect is on this hill.

my dad has this game called gravity I think. Anyways there are these two rods that you can pull apart or put back closer together and they are at a slant. You put a ball bearing on the bottom of the slope and try to make it roll upwards with out touching it. I assume the same effect is on this hill.

it is an optical trick, when you don't have beacons to see what really is horizontal your eyes are easily mislead when looking at small slopes. If u say u know such a hill, then go there with a straightedge and check what way is downhill and uphill and you have your proof of the optical illusion

They are scientifically proven. on the hills the magnetic field around the earth is stronger there, so the magnetic pull, pulls the car up the hill because it over powers the gravity, causing the car to be pulled UP the hill, not gravity pulling it down. it is a optical illusion. if you put a level on the hill you will see the slope is downward, it is a optical illusion if I remeber caused by the surrounding area giving the impressing you are going up hill. the slope has to be downward, but at only enough of a slope to pull the car down, while the eye cant tell it is properly slopped, and through the interaction with the surrounding scenery, appears to be a upward slope.
