i still see no innovations here. Besides the disc brakes. if it where up to me i'd implement a single sided swing arm, shaft drive with a special CVT like transmission. there would also be an optional electric motor assist. Disc breaks come standard, along with LED safety lights with reflectors. All for the targeted price of under $500 Bye bye bicycle companies!!!!
@toolshedjunky huffy's do not have a single sided swingarm. Nor do they have an internal CVT gearbox. They also don't have a single sided front fork either so no.
don't know about you guys, but when it comes to bikes, I MUST have: G2 geometry, an E2 head tube, ABP bracing, FCCMTB for a flex free front end, carbon armor, 120mm of travel in the frontend, with 110mm of DRCV suspension, twin-top-tube-custom-butted-platinum series steel frame, a sliding vertical dropout, Fisher control column, internal cable routing, low mount brake hanger...all this loaded into an OCL2 carbon frame.
Am I right or am I right??? Asshole bikers -- UNITE!!!!!!!!
@famv7 it's never been gary fischer bikes. they were/are built by trek, the only difference now is that they have written trek on the frame instead of gf.
If u r going for a 29er there is no point in going to the full suspension because the work is done for you anyways with the extra 3" if u are looking to get a 29er the hardtail is the way to go

It is a shame what trek has done. I refuse to buy a new gary fisher. It will be 2010 and older for me.
panasonicboy 8 months ago
@panasonicboy Trek was still making them then, it is just they eliminated the brand name and now make the Fisher collection.
