There's is only ever one captain in a company. what story is being told just depends from when "in time" he fits in the 40k timeline. The heavy toll of war probably meens that most space marines only live for about 200-300 years, they get a service stud in their head for every 100 I believe. That's not to say they can't live longer still, lord Dante of the blood angels has been chapter master for a millennia, or at the very leist a blood angel for that long.

The main reason you hear alot about 2nd companies is because of alot of chapters organisation is similar . 1st company is usually the veteran company, 2nd through 4th the battle companies. 10th is the scout company and everything between is used for reinforcing the battle companies , more specielized troops or in the case of the chapter being on a large scale deployment or campaign. There is always exceptions to this rule though. Space wolves for a prime example.

Great compilation trailer man :) Although, this should probably be renamed either Space Marines or something along the lines of the 'Imperium's Defenders' as the Blood Ravens only really feature in the very beginning with some of their aerial craft later. The main portion of this video are Ultramarines and a small snapshot of the Silver Knights. Still, nice work overall.
