I ride a 16.3 hh thoroughbred and hes 21 year old (hes syco as a 3 year old)

And i Just started cantering him off the lunge line and hes really great but since once he starts cantering hes becomes a race horse again and i cant usually stop him so we have to put him in his slow direction . Also his spine sticks like 2 inches out of his back so it will hurt to the maxx to canter him ! :P

whenever i try to make midnight (the horse i ride) canter she breaks after 2 seconds and then like stops and throws me onto her neck it was scary at first but im so used to it now lol but great walk to canter transition!!! ive never cantered bareback!

my mom rides bareback too. we dont have horses but she used to ride my aunts when my parents were dating. her friend has 2 horses but we barly go over there. when we go for parties, she wont let me ride cause of the other kids...
