I live in an area where sexual violence (perpetrated against females) is 5x the national average due to an outdated belief that women are objects. I am not American, I am Canadian, but it does bother me that our military gets more funding overseas than it does in places like where I am in Canada. If the goal in Afghanistan is to save women and children, why doesn't northern Canada get the get the same attention?

Your argument seems interesting but your obviously not intelligent at all and many of your points were contradicting to themselves. You spoke a lot about accomplishments and why you should be proud of them. Why am I not entitled to be proud of my countries accomplishments? Why can't I be proud to be an American? Your obviously looking at a narrow view of the definition of "proud" and you refuse to accept that one can be proud of their country. No American should ever be told not to be proud!!
