  • 11 meters? how old are you 12? this is ham radio not c.b. i am sick of hearing about it.

  • The radio really has a good sound on ssb. Could you mention other receivers you have used and how they compare to your r75?

  • I have used several receivers sub £1000 and the Icom is the best. cheers Mark

  • Thanks.

  • @KYLake I have to agree to Mark. I have several HAM rigs, but for the money nothing beats my Icom IC-718, which is very similar to the IC-R75 (only the 718 is a transceiver). It cannot compare with my Kenwood TS-2000, but the Kenwood cost 3X as much, too. For the money, you are never going to beat an Icom, period! If you want to spend 3-4X more, you can get a receiver (or transceiver) that will beat it, but nothing costing even 2X will!

  • someone should open that radio up for 11 meter

  • @CBRADIOLOVER If you knew about different radios, other than your Cobra 148 that is peaked with the "golden screwdriver", you would know that the Icom IC-R75 is only a receiver. Someone should tell you that inbreeding isn't normal!

  • great video pal, I am so glad you stuck with the hobby.

  • Thanks for watching and comments :)
