@menkin93 I go to that and then I tweak it to fit the track if i make a track at 130 BPM the release is going to be different to something made at 125 BPM as well as the effect I want to create. If I want that pumping sound I pull the threshold way down but if I just want things to sit in the mix a little better i'll only just have a little gain reduction so the threshold would not be down as far.
@RollinMills if you push "ESC" it will bring up your tool box. Then all you have to do is select the automation curve tool press "a" to bring up your automation lanes as a default you will see the volume lane (but you can select others) hover your mouse over the line that you want to automate and then bend away.
when you are sidechaining something, do you always use the gold sidechain preset?
