Im claustrophobic But only when im in small areas And i know i cant get out, If i were in a closet And i knew i could just open the door then i could sit all day without getting the least afraid, Even if it was locked but my friend was outside with the key so i could always just tell him to open, If i relise its no way or hard getting out i get all freaky and very stressed. My worst nightmare is that im stuck under lots of snow and i cant move a single limb That would fucking kill me out of fear
Wouldnt it make more sense to have the light ON? If the light is off you cant see how small the room actually IS. In the dark you wouldnt know if you were in a closet or a gymnasium and your mind wont get the cramped feeling.
I'm claustrophobic and I freak out over weird things like getting a shirt or necklace stuck on my head, it feels like it just keeps getting tighter. Actually with lights off it doesn't bother me too bad. When I freak out with lots of people around and I can't leave I close my eyes and put my hands over my ears. Sometimes I can't walk through crowded halls or door ways which sucks because there's always lots of people at school.
Well, only inside the closet might be a little bit terrifying, especially when the light is off, but try this, when you put her inside, after you tell her that you gonna let her out, pretend that you can't open the door, it's stuck. Believe me, that's the real test. Btw, I'm claustrophobic too.
@ChronomosXD That's a great point. And while that didn't happen on this video, the year prior to this we did the same demonstration with a different person, locked her in a much smaller closet, and once we put her in the closet we discovered we didn't have the key to get her out and she was trapped there for about 10 minutes while we called maintenance, and she stayed calm the entire time. If you want to overcome your claustrophobia, you can.
wierd. im claustrophobic over super tight spaces. like if someone is holding me down. i get super enraged and loose my shit. also if i wake up and my blanket is wrapped to tight around my legs or body i freak out. my wife and i cant even share a blanket. and i hate snuggling. but thats because it sucks. and its lame.
@BaneOfFreeSpeech I know exactly how you feel. In my sleep I end up kicking the blankets off my bed. I can't even wear clothing that constricts me in places like my neck ._.
