Ahh this bring back so many memories i could cry now. When I was in pre-k we put on a little play for our parents in the classroom singing this song, I had bumblebee wings too, they were really pretty, and i LOVED them. We used cottonballs as our bumblebees, and when I said"Ouch it stung me." I remember dropping my cotton ball, and I was sad. Ahh thankyou for this, i'm crying right now. Man i wish I could go back in time, i was so happy and undepressed then.

To the people that think that this song is sick or horrifying or leads to bad behavior on kids parts, I have to say this...Really?!? Its a playful kids song...I dont recall a pouring water on spiders epidemic to see if the sun would dry them out, or a bunch of kids hunting down bunnies named fufu to hit them on the head....I think if this is the bane of your parenting then perhaps you have other things to worry about - like psychological evaluations.

I'm not sure if the previous comments were serious about other versions of this song but if they are true then does no one else think this song is a bit sick? I mean "licking up my baby bumble bee" and then "puking up my baby bumble bee." Even if those lyrics were not part of the song and it was just "smushing up my baby bumble bee" that is just mean lol I mean honestly I would not want to teach my kids to start killing bumble bees. But i guess it's catchy so whatever keeps the kids happy.
