@finnbarrhagan And really, I think what we're talking about is standards, basically; very, very specific, rigid, you could say, but in this world where would we be without them, I think. And notice where we are.
I love my Norfolk Terrier, Snicks. He is, however, the meanest, nastiest and dangerous dog to anyone he doesn't know. He will bite and fight to the death.
I adopted him as an adult dog. He loves me and is super loyal to people that he knows, but I still have to practice "pit-bull management" with him. I love him so much but for his sake I need to lock him up someplace when someone is over.
OMG he is so gangsta!!! I will try to catch him on video when someone comes to the door. You won't believe his behavior! I will not let him bite, however.
@kungfudoggie My parents recently had to have their rescued border terrier put down because he had completely flipped, and started going for their faces with no warning. He was loved no end, and I know it was the hardest decision they had to make, but he had already been re-homed three times, and he would have been put down anyway if he was sent back, I've always been an advocate of rescuing dogs, but we won't do it again, it was too painful.
I'm not an expert but this is one breed of dog where they all seem to look virtually the same

What a load of pointless time wasting human egos. Everyone knows these events are all fixed. It's the people showing off, not the dogs.

This is my favorite breed of dog. They are fun, yet brave and loyal. They need lots of exercise, so let them out to run often.
