I was protective of all the kids, because a lot of parents are afraid to speak up. My sons, who fought in Iraq, seem to have done very well having PROTECTIVE parents! Being protective... teaches your own to be protective of others. My son saved fellow injured soldiers, when their building was blown up and attacked. But in the Polanski case, just a few years ago, the vicitm wanted Polanksi prosecuted no matter how long it took. He since settled in a civil court with her and she has now changed her tune, but that has no bearing on the justice system. We prosecute not just on behalf of victims but on behalf of future victims. Child rape is a serious crime.

If you know about the law then you are aware to allow a persons desires to be fulfilled would be sabotage to our legal system. I listen to your words and I disagree. We have in place laws to help protect victims and society. Example...in cases of domestic abuse the person may refute that they were not abused but if evidence shows otherwise....charges will still be sought. There is no difference in the Polanski case..evidence is evidence and our legal system is following through with their duty.

actually the case is closed. polanski was convicted. the silly documentary that claims there was misconduct has already been proven wrong. according to the author of this video, child rape is excusable so long as the child says so.
